How to disconnect the backup beeping sound on a 2022 and 2023 Hyundai Tucson hybrid.
being that the car is in EV mode during backup, the highway to heaven sound and beeping is needed to alert people 🤔

Dang, this took me 5 minutes. I’m so pumped. This is my company vehicle and it was so embarrassing when I threw this bad boy in reverse. All the other methods out there can kick rocks, tape…LOL. Thanks for the video, the delivery truck beep is gone!

Does this disable the horn too? The horn and VESS alert share the same speaker I believe.

That's my question too. The sound is mandated and doesn't bother me. The beeping is ridiculous

I'm more wondering how the f you get 39mpg. My wife's hybrid tucson has never been above 30. I had to ask the dealer why the mpg was such shit they said be lighter on the gas which isn't the cause. Best I've seen is 23 mpg lately.

My 2024 Tucson Hybrid SEL has hit 41mpg on a highway cruise and is now getting 35 around town. We are on the Maryland coast so it is very flat ground.

Thanks for showing idiots how to disconnect a SAFETY FEATURE. Good luck being sued when you hit a visually imparied person that stepped into your path that didnt see you OR hear you backing up.
