Good video, I’ve been working for UPS for about a year and a few months... I’m a full time driver now., started out part time like everyone else. UPS is the best decision I’ve made 😎
New sub! I have an interview this morning and it just so happened I saw your video. My interview is via Zoom. This was right on time!!! Thank you so much💖
Wow 😮 you literally answered the question I was looking for. I was wondering how I was gonna drop the parcels cos I’d be all over the place, but if they are telling you which ones supposed to be delivered next, then that’s perfect. I am gonna apply. Thank you 😊
I know I'm a year late but thank you so much for the info. I just applied for this job yesterday, waiting for the confirmation email and also stalking my applicant page to find an open spot for the appointment.
Love your videos - I was hired and I’m suppose to start tomorrow 11/30 but feel so uneasy about it. The pay and job seems very attractive and a no brainer but my biggest concerns are the number of stops, mileage, the wear and tear on my only vehicle with the constant starting, stopping, city driving; etc. (and my warranty is up). Also the insurance in the event if I’m in an accident because from what I understand if I was in an accident and my vehicle gets damaged, my policy wouldn’t cover it under my personal policy and they would drop me, and if I got commercial insurance, it would increase my premium.
I definitely understand where you are coming from. It is a lot of wear and tear on your vehicle. I love the job but I would love it a lot more if I was driving one of their vehicles 😊
Also, I forgot to mention, when you start they give you an insurance verification paper to have in your vehicle. While you are driving for them, you are covered under UPS insurance if you were to get into an accident.

Do you have a issue with a lot of dogs tryna attack u?
I actually didn't have a problem with dogs trying to attack me, but it has happened to others. You just have to be careful and be aware of your surroundings 😀
Are you able to take someone with you during deliveries?
At the hub where I worked, they told us it wasn't allowed.
Is your car/vehicle required to be 4 door cause I have a 2-door
Last year they said it had to be 4 door, but someone told me that they use their 2 door vehicle to deliver 🤷🏾♀️. Ask at your UPS hub to see what's acceptable, it may be different in certain areas.
Hi, when you took the driving test, what did it consist of and what to expect for your driving test?
They supv is just making sure that you are obeying the traffic laws, looking left-right-left before turning, scanning packages properly, not throwing packages, etc... it's not hard at all 😊
@@marlanacherry3201 Thanks so much.

No drug test.
Do you know how long orientation is?
Also what will you be doing for orientation? I also have an appointment for a tour I’m not sure what that’ll be for?
It was all online, took me about 6-7 hours to complete it.
@@LydiaSyhavong Not sure what the tour is for, maybe they are showing you around the terminal. Orientation is just completing modules online.
@@LydiaSyhavong Absolutely not 😊 while you are on the clock you are covered by UPS insurance. If you were to get into an accident and they found out that someone else was in the car with you, you could be in a lot of trouble.
Good video. Is it paid Orientation training?
Yes!
How long was your orientation?
About 2hrs
Was your orientation online or in person?
@@vladokingsley297 In person.
I start on the 9th I’m so nervous
Dont be nervous! It is so easy, you will do just fine 😁👍😊
Today is the 9th- How did it go?
@@AndieeGrl hello 😁 well it was orientation I thought we was gonna get a tour but no , we just now wait on a email for training and once done they will call us and set a schedule for the first day
Ah ok! Today I am suppose to get a phone call... to be honest their recruit process could be improved! Lol but as long as this is legit, I can’t wait.
@@AndieeGrl same here 🙏🏽 I just go the email for training last night couldn’t log in but looks like now I got in 💯

Is the pay weekly or bi-weekly ? I just applied
Weekly 😊
@@marlanacherry3201 awesome ! Thanks for the fast response!!
So I now have a orientation appointment coming it says virtual tour . Will they be sending a video chat link to my email ? If so I haven’t received it .
@@santanacarson That happened to me as well , I got that same " virtual tour" message. I actually called the Hub I would be working at and spoke with someone in HR. They actually told me to come in person for tour. So, if I were you , I would call or go there and ask.

Does it matter if you have just liability insurance?
@@leahjohnson5127 Yes, that's fine, and when you are driving your vehicle for UPS, you are covered under their insurance, they will give you the verification paper.
