Sir I am planning to purchase classic 350 but at the same time i am confused with honda h'ess cb350 as it has more power and torque compared to classic 350. So sir which bike would be good to buy? And sir if am getting more torque and power in honda cb350 so why should one go with classic 350 although prices are almost same ?And sir why enfield is not providing more power and torque as compared to honda in same price range it remains the same like hunter ,meteor and classic all have same torque and power and why enfield is working on this and improving its engine? Earlier RE use to make bikes which sell based on road presence and styling and torquey engine. at that point of time India has not other bike in 350 series to compete with it, so being a big engine people used it for curising as well. After so many years we saw that RE listened to its consumers and modified their bikes and gave us tubeless tyres, a much more refined J series Engine, a tripper navigation also. Whereas Honda H'Ness cb350 is definitely a solid product. It's styling, features and engine specs are spot on. so the difference between 2 is very narrow cuts down to few points only:- 1. Re is retro looking bikes, whereas Highness is a modern looking bike. 2. RE has a good service network, whereas highness will only be available in big wing showrooms and has a limited service network. so, if you can compromise on looks than go for CB Highness. if you can compromise on Slipper clutch and Techy instrument cluster than go for RE Classic 350
Also need to install an Bar end mirror to tackle vibration ,LED lights and protection against mud because of the distance between tyre and mudguard and one more thing that its Poor Build quality many people are saying that the meter is coming out from its original position and indicators s are so sensitive that if it comes in touch with a minor accident it gets destroyed? Are all these things true , should I go for this even after having so much of problems where other bikes are having metal body and good build quality like Yezdi Roadster etc.? plz reply to this and also the above mentioned one
Thats true brother, mirrors vibrate after 100kmph, mud protection is same on every bike in this segment, build quality is lighter than classic 350 for sure and meter didn't came out till now 😀. I bought this bike because I was coming from a 110 cc bike and RE 350 cc is a major upgrade for me, so for me build quality is good but if you compare it with honda and yezdi and even its sibbilings like classic and meteor, its definitely light. I would say that honda highness is the best in this category be it engine refinement or build quality. Hunter is also a good bike in 2 lakh but for extra 50k u can get honda cb highness which is a better bike.
Tik tik sound becomes part of riding after 1st service. 👍It is a tapet sound not disappearing after setting because if timing chain is tighten too much tighten then pickup will decrease. 👍
Sir, Tachometer is really a cool looking feature and useful too because you can better determine when to change gears by using the tachometer. An engine may suffer harm if the RPM is excessively high. If the RPM is too low, there won't be enough power for the bike. (99% riders uses engine sound as tachometer) But after a while a rider gets used to it gear shifts and RPM's, so it get useless, but for a bike enthusiast this is a cool way to monitor the heartbeats of the engine. Vaise ab super Meteor 650 me bhi tachometer nhi diya Royal Enfield ne. so Tachometer is a optional kind of thing, Its looks attractive to most of the riders but very less knows how to read it.
Of course bhai, this is such a low rider bike. It will look good on short riders. Seat is also low and the point is that you will be able to handle it with confidence.
I want to purchase Hunter 350 Rebel Red variant and in my city this bike's on road price is around 2,03,700 but by seeing other reviews on youtube I found out that there are many other problems in this bike like :- 1.Seat is not comfortable for long Rides. 2.Vibration starts happening after crossing 80 and due to this mirror also starts shaking which reduces visibility. 3.Poor visibility of Headlights. 4.No backrest for pillion. 5.Need to install Leg guard which is of very poor quality even in a minor accident it gets pushed in and very difficult to fix it in original position or else need to put a new one. 6.Need to install an engine guard seperately. 7.The gap between tyre and mud guard is very much so mud can easily hit the pillion so we need to put a guard for this. 8. Tyres not of good quality it easily gets skit in wet roads , it can get better. So,if I have to modify all these things which are necessary to be made assuming all these parts are of original Royal Enfield product this will easily cost me around me extra for 30 to 35 K which will be total of 2,03,700+30,000=2,33,700 and paying this much for this bike from my point of view is not worth . If i add extra 20 to 22k I can get Yezdi Roadster which is very much powerfull bike than Hunter 350 and i get all these things fitted ? So, should I go with Hunter 350 or Yezdi Roadster ? And are all problems are genuine for this bike?And why should I go with Hunter 350 if i had to modify or install all other things by myself? Plz reply and correct me if I am wrong somewhere
bhai, you are wrong on only one point, which is you are making decision based on reviews on youtube. i did watched reviews of every other bike within 1.5 lacs to 3 lacs before buying Hunter 350, and trust me initially i made a clear decision that i will never buy a Royal Enfield Motorcycle due to lots of vibration, High maintenance cost, tyres not broad enough, no modern technology etc. etc. at that time Dominor was my first choice. But when i visited showrooms and got test rides of few bikes like, Dominor, Classic 350, hunter 350, Suzuki Gixer 250, KTM 200, (Visited Yezdi but didnt test ride),Yamaha FZS250 etc. i found few observation about hunter 350:- 1. seats are good and much more cushiony than others. 2. bike build quality if definitely good and tyre profile is wide and looks compact. 3. headlight is big and had enough power to light up the road. 4. front shockers are big and chuncky. 5. bike is pretty heavy and rides stable. so Hunter looked small in videos but in practical its a big and heavy bike and has much more comfort to offer. after doing study on compression ratios, i found that air cooled engines also performs good on long runs without stops and can maintain a good cruising speed between 80 to 100. now bhai coming to your points, i did many long rides from 380 kms in a day to 550 kms in a day every time with pillion and luggage. 1. Seats feel uncomfortable after 90 to 100 kms or 1hr to 1.5 hrs continous. i solved this by just putting a towel under my bum. Meteor 350 is much more comfortable. 2. i cruised at 80 kmph initially and after 200 kms bike felt so smooth on 90 & 95 kmph and you feel no vibrations whatsoever, vibrations kick in after 100 kmph. 3. Headlight throw is enough in night, dont think that its halogen and LED's are better, headlight on Hunter 350 is big and bright. 4. Tyres are wide and provides very good stability on highways, in wet conditions also it never skit. 5. Pillion or rider will get dirty on legs if riding on wet roads. 6. Get company provided back rest and leg guard, quality is very sturdy. and in parcticality bhai, buy a bike which is selling in good numbers, because you can get serviced in all over india and get the spare parts as well. RE has a good network of service centers. Coming to yezdi roadster, i just visited showroom but didnt test ride it. but i felt that bike looks absolutely stunning and is a head turner. seats looked stiff and seats size is almost same. its a liquid cooled bike which means it can cruise at more than 100 kmph speeds for long time. so on papers yezdi looks more superior than Hunter 350. as a hunter 350 rider, i am fully satisfied with the bike and no major complaints from this bike. its ticks all the checkboxes for me. you should also a yezi roadster rider for his review or get a test ride. so Hunter 350 is a better bike for me which gives a better mileage, a good tourer with a better tank range and a good Re network connectivity.

@@visheshjaiswal1594 bhai, its been 1 year 3 months now and 10k+ Kms, i've not faced any issue with meter fitting, may be if we hit it hard it can break but till now no issue. ofcourse bhai yezdi roadster is a good bike also, you can definetly go for it if budget is not your problem.
@@autocircle744 other seat not required brother..original is very comfortable. U can do easy 1.5 hrs riding in one go, after that you will going to feel some uneasiness. So just take a 2 to 5 mins break and you are good to go again.

bhai, i have not faced any problem till date, bike is running good and smooth, its been 4000 kms and unnecessary noise from engine, no heating, never it hit any breaker so i am just loving it.Excellent Machine. Mileage is 35kmpl as of now.
This tik-tik sound is actually tappet sound it is common in every hunter 350. Just got mine 1st serviced yesterday and they did something called tappet setting. And the tik tik sound is almost gone. Tappet setting for is completely free for 1year although i am not sure about the time frame but it is free.

@@vibhusingh4448 sir, mileage was about 32 to 34 before 1st service and bike heats for starting 4 to 5 days after then it gets normal. After 1st service I got a mileage of 33 to 35 in city and 37 on highways and engine heat reduced substantially after 1st service. Instrument cluster m aaj tak koi glitch nhi aaya meri bike m. All the trips are showing perfect.

Isse zyada value for money aur toh koi bike nhi hai india m within 2 lacs. E 20 se mileage loss bhi hai and engine maintenance zyada mangta so hope for the best.🙏

Yes brother...its very comfortable, but backrest increase the comfort by 50% more in my view.

Actually in my experience tappet noise is not there in cool engine. Becomes prominent in hot engine and goes away when engine cools down
To set the tappets they will take 650 rs for gaskets

@@asifahmed-sr4ox ofcourse you can change...I booked dapper grey but then I saw rebel blue in real and i changed to rebel blue, because it was so premium looking in blue and white. I changed on the next day of booking..🤣🤣

@@vibhusingh4448 sir, mileage was about 32 to 34 before 1st service and bike heats for starting 4 to 5 days after then it gets normal. After 1st service I got a mileage of 33 to 35 in city and 37 on highways and engine heat reduced substantially after 1st service.
Instrument cluster m aaj tak koi glitch nhi aaya meri bike m. All the trips are showing perfect.

@@vibhusingh4448 sir, Hunter 350 is the most value for money bike in terms of engine performance, ride quality and looks. Aapko ek dumdaar bike milti hai which will last for years. Isse zyada value for money aur toh koi bike nhi hai india m within 2 lacs.
E 20 se mileage loss bhi hai and engine maintenance zyada mangta so hope for the best.🙏

Tik tik sound classic may bhe acthaa hai.... Mere dosthoo ke paas classic hai dono bike may bhe aatha hai so i think j series Engine may sound commen hai
