I am an Igbo man from anambra state and I support Biafra 100%. I was born in Warri and I grew up in Warri as well as in Sapele part of Delta state. I schooled in the University of Benin, Benin city and also stayed in Benin between 2005 and 2022. Having stayed and interacted with the Urhobo people for long, I can tell u for free that the Urhobo people are a friendly group of people to live with, no wonder my dad built a magnificent house in Sapele Delta State in 1999, which still stand till this day. I will like to assert that I am not in support of Simon Ekpa's inclusion of the Urhobo nation into the states of Biafra. Before that is done, there ought to be consultation with the leadership of the Urhobo nation. the point that I am trying to make is that Biafrans like myself should focus our energy on Igbo speaking parts of Delta (anioma), Edo (Igbanke), Kogi, Rivers, and Benue states. Just only the indigenous Igbo tribes in these States should be considered for addition into the Sovereign State of Biafra. The mistake that Nigeria's founding fathers made by thinking that huge population will be tantamount to Nigeria's greatness is what Simon Ekpa is about to make in the inclusion of other non-igbo nationalities in the United States of Biafra. Talking of Urhobo nation, I guess should be differentiated from Urhobo state in Nigeria. The choice of one Nigeria since independence has never benefited the Urhobo nation much. A united States of Biafra does mean giving our rights and privileges to Ibos or getting enslaved. It's either we join Biafra now or agitate for Urhobo nation from Nigeria where our cultural/traditional affinities are at variance. I think we are closer to Biafra nation in terms of culture/traditions than Nigeria and we share the same suffering being Nigerians as the Ibos. You have made a submission that Urhobo is not part of it, but I can say that I watched when an Urhobo indigene addressed the congregation two days ago, and he was very happy to be a Biafran. However, it is in a situation like this that the Western world is miles ahead of us. They introduced the referendum to take care of a situation of this nature. If not that the beneficiaries of the present situation in Nigeria are scared, what is difficult to organise a referendum that we all know is a wonderful democratic process for people to decide what they want.

So in the restoration of Biafra 57 years after the former one went underground, all the ethnic nationalities that jointly owned the stste must be carried along by the Igbos who incidentally are among the majority of those clamoring for its restoration given that they have the capacity to do so. Now that Biafra has been restored, all non Igbo speaking stakeholders since the coming of Biafra will be welcomed to opt out. This is the sense in calling the new Biafra the United States of Biafra( A confederation.) Meaning that each of the 40 states have full right as a country and can willingly opt out of the USB at any time T. I couldn't be more better than this. So if una sabi wetin the Igbo man want do for fellow Ethnic groups trapped in the fulani caliphate called Nigeria, by including then in USB, they will quietly remain in USB and later opt out stresslessly if they wishe. I am an Igbo man from anambra state and I support Biafra 100%. I was born in Warri and I grew up in Warri as well as in Sapele part of Delta state. I schooled in the University of Benin, Benin city and also stayed in Benin between 2005 and 2022. Having stayed and interacted with the Urhobo people for long, I can tell u for free that the Urhobo people are a friendly group of people to live with, no wonder my dad built a magnificent house in Sapele Delta State in 1999, which still stand till this day. I will like to assert that I am not in support of Simon Ekpa's inclusion of the Urhobo nation into the states of Biafra. Before that is done, there ought to be consultation with the leadership of the Urhobo nation. the point that I am trying to make is that Biafrans like myself should focus our energy on Igbo speaking parts of Delta (anioma), Edo (Igbanke), Kogi, Rivers, and Benue states. Just only the indigenous Igbo tribes in these States should be considered for addition into the Sovereign State of Biafra. The mistake that Nigeria's founding fathers made by thinking that huge population will be tantamount to Nigeria's greatness is what Simon Ekpa is about to make in the inclusion of other non-igbo nationalities in the United States of Biafra. For Biafra to be a great nation, we need to reason alike and communicate alike, only Igbos and similar tribes like Efik/Ibibio should be included in the states of Biafra. Thank u.

Please, you are an old man that suppose not to speak without proper information about the issue you are to speak about. I respect you. I wish to enlighten you a little. Nobody conscripted another into united states of Biafra. Every of the forty state in Biafra were created and formed by the indigenous people of each individual state. You were not involved in the formation of uhrobo state does not mean that Igbos formed it for you. You have only one vote, there are very many other uhrobo people that also have right of choice. Biafra is not like Nigeria where different people are forced under gunpoint to belong by force. If you are comfortable with the state created for you by a military man from far away region, some other people might not be comfortable with such a thing.

I always enjoy Dr apoki's analysis on issues. I think that, indirectly, a referendum which had been the demand of the Biafra people is being conducted.

Apoki is a politically-correct jigida dance advocate for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, emphasizing that Bola Ahmed Tinubu should grant him "presidential pardon."
Yes, Apoki is asking that "Presidential Pardon" should be grated to an accused person (Nnamdi Kanu) who was not found guilty of any crimes by the Nigerian courts. That is Apoki type of politics and academic abracadabra for you.
And now, Apoki is all bent out of shape that Urhobo was included as part of "a working document" in the United States of Biafra?
What does that tell us?
That exposes the fact that Apoki has not been following events as he would want his subdcribers to believe. Obviously, like many others, he is a social media political pundit, and academic talkative?

This is a lingered debate time ago and after researches, findings and consultations was done , conclusion was drawn. All I have to say to you respectfully is, 'good morning Sir ', because whenever one arises from sleep is his or her morning. Don't forget others has been awake long ago.
Mr man, don't be slow. Urhobo, Itsekiri, Edo, Ijaw, Isoko etc. were never in Biafra and will NEVER be part of Biafra. The people agitating for Biafra are merely stating a maximalist position for a UN-supervised referendum in the area they claim. This referendum will result in ALL non-Ibos rejecting Biafra thereby leaving only Ibos in the Biafran state an outcome that will be most welcome. The big problem for Biafran agitators will be if any of the minorities opt to join Biafra in the referendum because no bona fide Ibo wants any Urhobos, Isokos etc in Biafra despite all the noise.
The only minority groups that stand a chance of being included in Biafra with Ibos are the Ibibio/Annang of present day Akwa Ibom state. Should they vote to join Biafra, Ibos will welcome them with open arms for historical reasons and because they and Ibos have shared values- work ethics, world view. The rest are a NO NO. Good neighbours, yes but never part of Biafra. So bruv, don't waste your breath on Urhobo etc. being in Biafra, something that will never happen in a million years. Ibos would rather not have a new state than create another unworkable tower of babel in the name of Biafra.

I love people in Nigeria, but I don't love the system at work there , the government is not working. The corruption in the government is not helping any one . They are not building Nigeria rather they are stealing from Nigeria. Many Nigerians are dying every day ,many are fleeing from Nigeria. Many on their way to Europe die on the way . Talking of Urhobo nation, I guess should be differentiated from Urhobo state in Nigeria. The choice of one Nigeria since independence has never benefited the Urhobo nation much. A united States of Biafra does mean giving our rights and privileges to Ibos or getting enslaved. It's either we join Biafra now or agitate for Urhobo nation from Nigeria where our cultural/traditional affinities are at variance. I think we are closer to Biafra nation in terms of culture/traditions than Nigeria and we share the same suffering being Nigerians as the Ibos. All we need to do is join forces now to come out of Nigeria now, and settle our differences with Biafra much later.
I don't understand the backlash Dr. Apoki is receiving for simply voicing his opinion. I stand with him because you never know the intentions of the "Biafrans" towards the other tribes until they get what they want. Only time will reveal the true intentions of the movement.
