This is just too cute! I just lost my little man to Felv and he looked just like this with a huge feather duster tail. I could never scold him, even hanging upside down from my drapes, because of that white eyeliner!! So in love, thank you for sharing your little treasure, it helped.
Pro tip (literally since I learned this from Jackson Galaxy): if your cat won't eat out if a bowl, it's probably because their whiskers are hitting the sides of the bowl and it's making them uncomfortable. (Also why they won't eat the bottom of the bowl of their food too.) Give them a more shallow dish.

Try using a flatter and wider bowl or plate. Cat's whiskers are super sensitive and some cats don't like deeper dishes. You may already know that. Your kitten looks just like my Maine Coon kitten I found out in the desert, in some bushes. Beautiful 😻

My dog Tito headed for the bushes we were walking by and Wa La, a little 4or5 week old kitten, just screaming his head off. We look around and found two more babies. I took them home with me and cared for them. I said "I think they are part Maine Coon" because Tommy's feet were huge. His sister was very short hair but had ear tuffs. Tommy and his brother look more traditional. I'm going to get a DNA test. Is this your first Maine Coon kitten? I wish I could send you a picture of Tommy to see what you thought. Tommy is absolutely the mellowest kitten I've EVER met. Very easy to train and even wears clothes. Since I bottle fed him, he thinks I'm his mother so when he's hungry I have to put my hand in the bowl until he gets going. He's amazing. This is the first video of yours that I've watched but am looking forward to viewing more. 😻
I had a kitty that would put her head in my water glass and drink, and if it was to low she would stick her paw in and lick it, even though she had plenty of fresh water in her bowl. =)

But that's the best thing about cats isn't it? They're full of character! 😍❤
My Maine Coon does the same thing! She will never eat kibble from the bowl, she uses her paws to drag morsels from the bowl and then eats them off the floor. She’ll even use her paws to scoop water out from her water dish and lick it off her paws. Why?? It’s inexplicable but also cute. 😂❤😹😻

Just a thought: Some cats don't like their whiskers touching the sides of the bowl when eating. Maybe try a wider bowl and see if he eats from that.
