They are from the same company as red velvet. Known as vokal king and have a very outstanding musicality. I'd say you definitely enjoy them. Guaranteed. Maybe you can start with their song called Tempo or maybe you can start with Baekhyun, one of their main vocalist. Song recommended; Cry For Love and All I Got. He's doing some crazy vocal acrobatic in both songs.
Another reason that the high notes create that slightly creepy contrast is the use of the flat 6th. That interval really adds a ton of character to the melody which creates a huge amount of this unsettled tension.
