"What advice you would give your younger self?" is a sneaky way of asking "What advice would you give young devs?" while feigning interest in you as a person. It is a question that generates self-criticism and introspection.
I wouldn't call it sneaky; I think many people listen to "What advice you would give your younger self?" sorts of questions so they can think about applying it to themselves. At least, that's the fast impression I get.

totally! after watching this and applying all the advice, my productivity quadrupled! (it was zero to begin with so it stayed the same)

I'm fascinated by the difficulty he had when he was young that has led to the person that we know today.
