As someone who still plays anthem every so often- and will continue to do so till they shut down the servers- Fuck EA for killing this game. It had so much potential and it truly deserved better.
As someone who never bought it and does not want to because of all the bad things I heared, and because it supposedly cannot be played solo, yeah, so sad this is screwed up because flying in such mech suits would be such a fun gameplay mechanic. The only thing comes close is playing as Iron Man in Avengers games I guess, but I do not like the Avengers....
@@richardkutsera4992 you can definitely play the game solo and there are still people playing the game! im on pc and have still met quite a few ppl in game. the game as of now especially after the cataclysm update is actually a lot of fun although obviously a bit repetitive cuz of the lack of content. the mechanics of flying and combat are amazing and the looter shooter aspect is kind of there after the said cataclysm update! if you find anthem on a deal its def worth

Unless someone like you or me gets rich, buys the intellectual property and then pays people to finish it as it should have been...then it'll forever be wasted potential left to fester in it's own rot until they decide even the servers cost too much to bother running it anymore, then all one earned or bought will be lost forever. But they never gave up on it and after years it became a masterpiece thats still being released today. I believe it's going to be released on the switch consoles next. But sadly a lot of developers don't have passion and only make content to rip people off.

Go watch the 2017 e3 demo and the oats studios short film. This game is still great as is but man oh man it could have been the gold standard for what a co-op shooter could be. heartbreaking!!!
I have a theory remember when everybody freaked out when that live action Sonic movie trailer came out and everybody was like what the hell is that that's not Sonic then Universal went back and fixed Sonic and actually made him look like Sonic I can almost guarantee if everybody on Earth that has played this game and actually want them to finish the project all we got to do is bombard them and tell them like look man finish the game fix what you have to fix and finish the game start it back up give it one final shot...
I think this game is awesome n amazing...I don't understand y it is getting all the hate it doesn't deserve...I think it's a fun game...flying n combat seems funn..blasting foes with missile...n bullets...it seems better than destiny n titanfall...it deserves to get attention n also deserve a sequel..I would lov to play it's sequel too
The game looked great and the gunplay was a lot of fun. The problem was that there was just too little content for a service game. And there was never enough content added. That was the death blow for Anthem.
