Aqui otro sobreviviente ochentero. Me sumo a Ustedes. Los 80's una gran decada. En musica, cine, etc!!! Mucho de lo que somos en la actualidad, en lo cultural y tecnologico, se definio en esa decada. En parte los ochenta no han pasado, sigue en el aire.
Though I like PSB’s, this is the first I’ve seen of this film. I never even knew it was made. However. I am old enough to remember the 80’s, and I must say that we had far fewer things to be concerned about than today’s people… plus, we dressed so much better then! 😁
I love the British, and the 80's were glorious. I'm sure I've seen this before several years ago. I used to have lots of PSB albums on cassette tape. Thanks.
such an amazing surrealist vibe, incredible timing and editing! These philosophical perspectives on teacups and time uttered by a ventrilquist puppet must be some of the deepest stuff ever committed to music video tape! The industrial setting and choreography for rent on the other hand is very sign of the times, still exceptionally abstract in that it lacks a main protagonist jumping around :D I love PSB so much
I ❤ how Gareth Hunt removes his coat with a theatrical flourish, then sits down stiffly as if possessed by his wooden partner. Great example of casting against GH's action-man type.
That pilot in the background is Biggles, isn't it? I saw the Biggles movie last night with the time travel. I wonder how he got from 1917 to 1987, and if they could have done more with his character other than trying to divide by zero and trying to shoot the Boys from his airplane.
Interestingly her acting work is listed as consistent every year but on both imdb and Wikipedia there's nothing after 2006, I wonder if she gave up acting?
I used to be quite a fan of the PSB (going back to when I was in junior high in the '80s), but as a Yank, I've never seen this before. Was this like a bad fever dream that somehow became reality? It's not so much surrealist or absurdist as it's really just freaking head scratching. Is it supposed to be funny or tragic or what? 🤔
Great song
So sad we can'tgo back to the 80's, this was my youth and i miss it terribly.
I know the feeling my friend, sometimes I long for the eighties so much it hurts emotionally .

It's a reminder that the Pet Shop Boys were just about the last group that had enough distinctive songs to make a film around.
Great funny movie.
ABBA, or did Mamma Mia come later?
@@tomservo75 mamma mia was later.
@@rupert-j8fyes but the songs were earlier
@@stevepafford5501 yeh thats right.
watch neil tennant and chris lowe when gareth hunt sits down and throughout the scene. they are both trying not to laugh and cracking each other up.
The puppet speach "The Structure of time" freacking Genius 😬
I was only 6 in the 1987. But I miss this time and decade. I have watched this video at least 400 times already

The dancing sequence was shot during the October storm of 1987.
Biggles reaction to the Chateâu Latour 1942 gets me every time.
@sonic_man 10 France was under Nazi occupation in 1942.
@@JackLyttle I assumed it was because of the fanciness of it
Next time I'm in a cafe I'm going to order a fry up exactly like Dredge

Música que era pra ter 1 bilhão de visualizações...
Brilliant!
Beautifullycrafted
The entire film will be released on DVD as soon an Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe stop being embarrassed by it. Meanwhile, here is some music...
It was rereleased about 3 years ago
We must get over our addiction to linear time!
Does anyone know the name of the mannequin in the video? I am looking.
10:13 - I love this scene.
Jamás había visto este video de los PSB

Película,muy,cómica,ok 👏😎✌️
Is Enrique Rocha on the Pet Shop Boys 😲😲
So funny
Was it masochism that made Chris so often come on as if he were Neil's bit of rough?
