To those interested in these ideas lookup any lecture given by Dennis's late brother Terrence McKenna on their trip to south America. They focused on taking the mushroom experience to the absolute farthest extreme on that journey but Terrence speaks eloquently about how eventually it is clear that the mushrooms speak with a clear voice. Both brothers speak at length about dmt too. I miss Terrance - he was a brilliant yet beautiful soul overflowing with eloquence, compassion and possibly some true insight.

Well the idea of the Plants talking to people is not absurd. They do in a molecular level. The agreement between a mitochondria and cholorophill started by talking and not randomness. Unless one is sure that everything is random. The alpha helix structure is random but the chemical idea is not! Ayahuasca is not a coincidence

You should listen to the indigenous people, the plants told them. Intuition was deeper and much more profound than a western person can even imagine. Real intuitive eating can be utilized today.

Fascinating discussion! Dennis's body language might be a bit distracting, so try listening without watching. It would be incredible to hear Jordan Peterson's insights after an Ayahuasca experience himself. And yes, we all miss Terence McKenna-his unique perspective is sorely missed in conversations like these.

@divine.defined.Æsthetics there is a huge difference... Thirty minute trip while smoking or vaping starts with a rush and ends abruptly...The six hour trip is intense as fuck...its like being fully awake and lucid dreaming at the same time. Starts slowly and ends exactly when the lesson is over. Meeting the spirit of the source of DMT is scary and therapeutic at the same time, never felt vulnerable to the level i felt with DMT trip with Ayahausca compared to any other psychedelics.
Three trips within a week is enough to come out as a transformed human being. The trips make hell a lot of sense and there is a continuity in these trips. Exactly like the way you feel with your therapist on follow ups after the first sitting.
The spirit of the plant is who you want to meet in the trip. The spirit is different for mimosa hostilis sources DMT decotion Jurema and Ayahausca root sourced DMT.

Devine defined. What he was saying is that by smoking or injection, it is very fast acting and hard to process information. It’s been described as a nuclear cannon by some users. The ayahuasca form of dmt is a lot slower, some say like watching a film, so it’s easier to process afterwards.

It's interesting that God designed our body to block its effects if injested alone and that plants like a snake, advised on how to bypass this. Ponder on that. God bless

I think we are blessed with photographers, and painters, and artists in general, but I also think there is something about the soul in direct connection with the eye that reveals some of the beautiful images shared with the masses…I don’t really know, but I think some works are deeply intimate interactions with the everything that is..I don’t believe we’re all fools stumbling around, and only some of us make magical mystical discoveries. I believe the artist is often engaged in conversation with the everything that is..even us…I mean, how many times has a work of art moved you, or “spoken” to you?…was it an accident..totally random? (Are we too old for a new language that uses the same old words?)
    🍻cheers

even though I've struggled to hear or see into the spirit, I have before. I've also walked people through how to see and hear into the spirit into the third heaven where God has his throne. I've also encountered plants that exist there, by way of this, which are eager to give nutritional advice. we don't have a sense of how plants or animals can communicate to us spiritually because we've largely lost the desire to pursue an ascetic lifestyle. Ayahuasca sounds like a kind of shortcut to be sensitive to things which are there, in those other dimensions.

@@clicheguevara5282 Joe's first DMT experience was from a guy named Jan Irvin at logosmedia. They were friends and Jan was often on Joes podcast in the very early days when Joe was merely broadcasting from his bedroom on Skype call. Jan was associating closely with all the academic big names in psychedelics, was going to take up the academic mantle and write his own book and magnum opus about the topic from a supportive anthropological perspective. During his research he discovered a dark underbelly behing the western promotion of these substances and academic fraud on the part of the big name academics promoting it. When Jan confronted them about it, they did not answer his queries, but rejected him from the community and made him a pariah. Learning more if the actual facts, Jan later flipped in his support of these substances and the community that supports them. It is an interesting story.

You have to admit you have a very little idea of what talking with plants means....it is not a logical system as the one you are use to ,,,,it is analogical or... form base like the forgotten doctrine of signature of herbology ... i.e. the antidote to a poisonous snake bite is in a plant revealing a pattern simillar to snake skin design...this intuitive knowledge is used by miryad of animals using plants for food or medecine ...it is curious how we are the most easely poisoned or fooled...was this a price to pay by leaving the Garden ...the Vine of the Souls is not only an Imao,... it is a fear cleaning process required before accessing DMT realm...and from my perspective this is so much older that we can imagine...

If Satan can make a snake talk, he can make plants talk.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
The bible strictly forbids communication with the underworld but Satan is a clever little bugger and people are stupid to mess with these things.

Finally! Someone, who knows the bible and what spiritual dangers these substances bring to mankind. I think exactly these substances will lead many astray when legalized in the future. We don't need pharmakia, we need our Lord. We should never enter those easy-to-enter realms not to get fooled by demons masqueraded as angels of light. And why do I say this? Because my past was very interesting and God saved me in the last moment on the dead end path. I am a strong Christian faith apologist now and the more I study the dangers of the occult, the more I realize how intelligent satan is. Whatever is easy to get other ways than through the cross is not the way. God bless you!

A dangerous territory that is being walked. This topic can invite people into drug use which may lead them to a life of addiction. Better these topics be discussed privately to avoid our conscience being affected and the weight of our actions leading people down the wrong path. Intellectuals are starting to discuss this type of drug use as doing something positive for the greater good. Yet, I know many people who used hallucinagins and became addicts of different drugs, including heroin. Making drugs seem intellectual is a slippery slope, especially when a person with such a following where the followers hang on every word and then begin the dive into "safe" drug use under the guise of "self correction". Of course, intellectuals will argue that they never put it in their mouth or told them to sniff it, etc and thus "escape" their conscience. I'm a fan of Jordan. Just happen to have a different opinion about opening this "door". I believe God has called us to protect our senses to the degree we have control over them.. Jordan always talks about cleaning your room and being disciplined. The irony here.

Oh, have no doubt. This dude has been blasting psychedelics for 40+ years at this point. The McKenna’s are pioneers of the whole modern hallucinogenic movement. His brother, Terence, was a much sharper fellow. He fully believed mushrooms communicate with humans. Not sure where Dennis is at on that, although I think he’s a bit more of a skeptic, I don’t actually think he was being fully dismissive of the idea that the plants could speak, as he mentioned right after, it seemed his laughter was more acknowledging that he’s aware of how that type of thought is perceived when presented as evidence in the west. 🙏🏻
