Interesting, Xanthia could move by itself, It just chose not to, why waste fuel when someone else can do it for you.
Think the ice breaker price is higher than fuel cost on xanthia. But the damage cost on xanthia on the other hand,would be high og she Pushed trough.
It could move only after the Kontio opened the way at the left side, because now the ice that was holding the Xanthia can float to left, lessening the resistance.
