- Had a little fun with the Stihl 461 and 500i. The chain was brand new Hexa Chain on A light weight 28" bar. Hope you enjoy and don't take any of this to seriously. I love both saws and would have a hard time choosing just 1. Although, I do love that 461 a little bit more.

Preferably both, but if a HAD to choose I'd rock the 461
It's a real good choice!
My 461 has served me well for a mid-sized saw. A 261 and 661 fill out my pro-saw line up and each has it's place. I intentionally went non-M-tronic for all of them as I figured that the lack of silicon chips will let me make wood chips almost indefinitely... Everything else I have had around the house containing silicon chips has failed and those items weren't subjected to the heat, cold and vibration to which a chainsaw is subjected!
Same reason I bought my 461. The 461 is my favorite chainsaw by far!
Great saws! Great video 👏🏿👏🏿
Thanks 👍
Chris don’t back up 😂. Both are great saws one just a little faster.
Both great saws!
Look how much work can get done when there are 2 Killingers on the job!
I wish I had about 4 of me. Ha!
461 is the last classic Stihl made!
It's my favorite!
No saw is n henco replacemnt for displacement for sure.e the reason to oqn so many lol Both good saws ,
Couldn't agree more!
Unless you consider weight to power.
I would love to run a light saw, that has the torque of a 075 Stihl.
I grew up running 040,056, 075 Stihl's and Mac's.
But the 064 came out and changed the game forever, with Horsepower. AKA chain speed.
As you know, this =ed a lighter saw that still cut fast.
Heck, Even faster on most stuff. But I still use the 075 to push 42" 48", etc bars. I like the torque and oiling systems on it.
After all. Getting oil to that bar, is more important than the power going to the bar.
Same chain and bar ?
Yes sir
Right, but 461
Exactly!
What a turd!
@@KillingerUSA 😂👍🏻
Cool video! I’m just getting into chain saws…why do you goose the throttle before beginning your cut? Thanks.
Pretty darn close considering 77 cc's to 79 cc's.
Yes sir
They both running the same pin sprocket? Both great saws!
As far as I know, yes. I never thought to check.
I would say that . that fits you and is the easiest to handle was the winner. They both performed great and didn't bog down. Be blessed. My friend.
Take care!
I'll take wich ever you don't want both better than what I have!
Haha! I really shouldn't own these either. The clones work fine for what I do. Still fun!
impressive brutes
Yes sir
It would certainly hard to choose between the two!
Yep
hi do you think the 461 has more torque ? john
Definitely not
Both are good saws.
Now this Showdown! was, to see what saw does better on fuel and starts with the shortest number of pulls? Right?
😄😁😂
Oh Yes. It would be fun to see this with a Stihl MS 462 C-M.
Anyhow, Both are good work saws and will run 12 to 18 hours a day for 7 days a week, pushing a 32" bar.
I would be more than happy to run them to put $ on the table.
I don't see how you could go wrong with either saw. Love them both.
sweet video bro!
Appreciate it!

👋
Oh Im excited!
Haha! You know I did this for a before, right?
@@KillingerUSA yeah I saw the foreshadowing. Gotta read between the lines.
@@Leave_Nothing_Stock from what I can tell, it won't take much to leave that 500i in the dust.
@@KillingerUSA stock 461s leave a lot to be desired
