Im a braider so I’ve just been doing different protective styles with no where to go😫 but for those who don’t know how im sure this video will be very helpful!
You make everything look so easy!!!! I don't know how to open a straight line going all the way to the back of my head or to even conrow at the back of my head 😭
It’s hard! I get so frustrated. However I’m good when it comes to the middle to the back section but when it comes to starting off the braid that’s where I need the most help with.
Beginners; start learning how to flat twist. Flat twisting is the easiest way to get the hang of cornrowing because the process is similar but with just two strands. This helped me understand what was going on and how to cornrow (eventually) im still a beginner myself but i get the process its just my braids look so fuzzy you cant even tell if its a braid 😭😭😭
I’m so happy you posted this. You don’t know how many women that don’t know how to braid 🤚🏽...now maybe I can throw on a wig after I learn how to braid my own hair
@@assyabarro5361 lol... I'm not a master now buh I can braid my hair and I do my siblings own. Though it doesn't come out perfectly neat buh I'm trying 😏
I made my hair this weekend following your tutorial form a year ago...Goodness I am popping...I need to become a saloonist already ....All now glowed up for my youtube video upload ...You are a star. So much love watching u do hair ....
No one is telling me how to part, when ever I do my cornrows they never end up on the same line at the back like a normal cornrow, some even go as far at ending at the middle of my head can you imagine the disrespect, please how do I part the hair for everything to end up at the same line at the end, nice video though.
You part a slimmer line after you pass the middle of your scalp. Because the back of the head is narrow than the front, if you can decide on a number of cornrows, then that can guide you...also practice 😊 with every try it gets better
it helps if you part down the middle firs, (in half), and then part each half by the amount of braids you want. make sure your hand is not moving when you’re parting... it has to curve with the shape of your skull. so slope downwards until you reach your nape
I won’t finish telling the story of the first day I cornrow my hair by myself,my muscles 💪 felt like someone used hammer 🔨 on it. I will cornrow for 5minutes and rest for 30minutes then continue . I spent hours 🤣,in short the whole day.
Thank you for posting this video. I was never thought how to do cornrow braids. I love my natural curl hair. But every now in them I gotta rock the braids. I’ll practice and learn thanks to you. Much love ❤️
Your parting is what? Your parting is the most accurate that I have ever seen in "doing it yourself " braids. Sometimes I feel someone does it and you edit it. I have been struggling with parting my own hair for a very long time 😩 . I just wonder how you do it perfectly.
Adana, THANK YOU so much for posting this video!! I love how you parted your hair for the 3 legs! This helped me tremendously! We appreciate you so much sis😍
I’ve seen 3 great YT tutorials, but for ME and MY HAIR, this is the best! Found this one halfway through my head and I think I’m going to do much better on the other half now!! God bless you!!!!!!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Watching your videos I just feel like I'm in a masterclass. I really admire how you break it down and make it so easy, not only this videos but many of the others I've watched. I've tried some of the styles, anyone that admires it even small, I send them your links sharperly sharperly. Adanna girl u are so beautiful. Well I did my conrows myself and it was so clean and that was 3days prior to doing my jumbo twist for my school on Monday. Quarantine is over here in Cameroon and I'm so happy I learnt a lot from you. Thank you 😘
Thank you so much, i like the way you show me how to corn row, while I could hear the instructions without you having to stop every minute and explain. Really appreciate it, will keep practicing 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
They look nice. I am also practising on my hair at home. I want to get good at making my own hair...and the salonist will not see a dime from me...hehehehehe
Thanks for this step-by-step video for cornrowing! You make it look easy. I am definitely going to put forth your tips today when I attempt to cornrow my own hair.

Sis your parting is on point👌 I think I finally know how do to them and also I've perfected flat twists. The problem for me is definition, they dont show in my hair. I think I need to blow dry my hair before cornrowing so they will stand out?? Or maybe use edge control??
@@misswogdaily2344 OMG Really?!! I also have 4a hair, so I will try putting edge control or gel on my roots. Thank you, I was wondering what was going on with my head. If you dont mind, what is the name of the product you use?

Tighten your grip that’s you make them near and always make sure your hair is dry if you have fuzzy hair
You just introduced me to flat twists! Just searched it up and saw them for the first time. Soo pretty! I think I like flat twists more actually
