      How come? It wasn't being sent as a parcel and it arrived absolutely fine with the customer really happy 🤷🏻‍♂️

      @@RetroReselling take it you have never worked for a transport company.......treat pallets like parcels! stack on top of each other to safe space

    I would never send an item out like that, drivers stand on pallets while they are checking other items, also sometimes if the pallet contains boxes they split the pallet and throw the boxes on top of other pallets, as they can get more in the lorry that way. You definitely should have covered it in bubble wrap first and then used a pallet strap to bind it to the pallet. That way it definitely won't move around. It won't be delivered in that van either as will be taken to a warehouse somewhere and loaded on to a bigger lorry with loads of other items. I really hope it gets there OK for you.

      Got there absolutely fine

    What made you not protect the corners of the speaker? Just a flimsy bit of cardboard around the middle?

      It's on a pallet, not being sent as a stand alone parcel

      @@RetroReselling Yes, I know it's a pallet, I watched the video. What if it had been knocked about in transit? It's great it got there in one piece but that wasn't because you packed it well, it was blind luck. The packing was awful.

  • @RedSpectrumPictures
    @RedSpectrumPictures 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

    What a horrendous packing job. Whether you've put it on a pallet or not, it still has to go through transit in a van or lorry to your customer. You tipped the pallet slightly and the speaker almost fell off! You need to stop acting like what you've done here is acceptable. Especially if you're teaching people on youtube.

    That would have had several layers of bubble wrap and more cardboard if I were to send that out. Drivers stand on pallets so that would be a foot stright through the speaker. Hope it got there ok

    Thanks for sharing your personal way of doing things, I was in a similar situation myself the other week… I actually ended up lifting the pallet on with the guy where I had to keep it in the garden overnight until the morning ready to go due to space restraints ! Hope your season picks up nicely for you in the coming weeks 🎉 Nice sale btw

    I used to be in packing, you should not have put the plastic bag over it as it can cause condensation inside it, you need to get some tri wall cardboard for it, if you went to somewhere like Halfords they will give you an old box that the bikes come in.

    Can you please explain why you think sending it on a pallet (with no protection) means it will be safe? Is there someone we're all missing? A key bit of knowledge about pallets that we don't know? Because you keep replying to everyone saying that you "sent it on a pallet" with no explanation as to why that's safe.

    Are you covered for any damage using that pallet site? I sell quite a bit big and bulky pieces of furniture an so far been using Parcelforce with minimal problems but always looking at possibly new ways for safe transit. Parcelforce don't cover for damage though whatever, should check out the restricted list of items that aren't covered for damage lol may aswell be everything 😅

    seriouse trouble for useing them as they are for transport companies who pay an anual price to use them.
