Great vid thank you! Just a few spots for you for future reference: - Guards don’t count leapfrogging as one of their moves - Guards activate from top to bottom and from left to right, so for example at 8:29 the guard you moved should have moved last - When a guard finishes on a double arrow space, they turn to the left or right if a path is available, even if it contradicts the direction shown on the guard order. (E.g at 8:35 the guard would have ended his move and turned left, at 10:35, he would turn to the right, at 13:00 ocelot would have turned left etc).
At the 11:20 mark those door jams do not block LoS, although you did read the rules correctly there. It is a graphics error and being added to erratta/faq. Apologies for the mistake. Geeat videos btw!
@@chrishamm2515 thanks for the clarification. I suspected that was the intent but felt the need to play it that way to draw attention to how important LOS is in the game and that the rulebook doesnt have enough examples to clarify certain issues. The same is true for surveillance cameras as i showcased in the heliport mission, the rules seem to make it impossible to activate event B in that stage without being in the cameras LOS.
@Shatterdicegaming the Heliport is intended to be impossible to grab B without being seen by the camera, afterall it is optional. ;) Maybe there are other reasons it is that way too. Glad you are enjoying the game. Your videos are fun to watch.
Guards would attack if you stay in their LoS at the end of your turn. You would put an alert token under yourself though if you cross their LoS. When any figure leaps another you don't count the space they leap over. Great video !
8:35 haven’t you forgotten to turn the guard on his right ? Maybe I’m mistaken since I don’t have the game but you are in the rotation symbol and the card show an arrow pointing right. Since he has to face the wall he make a turn back on the other side just like the move of Ocelot at 12:48 23:03 again I don’t own the game but aren’t you supposed to read the part with the skull symbol ? (Edit , corrected at 24:56)
FINDING A NEW PATH An active Guard may need to find a new path when they would not be able to move further in the current direction, or when they end their movement on a 🔃. They will do this by turning either left or right to face a direction that has at least 1 unoccupied space they can potentially move into (e.g., around corners). If there are available paths both to the left and right, the active Guard will turn in the direction ⬅️/➡️ shown on the Guard Order card. If there are no paths to the left or right, the active Guard will turn in the direction ⬅️/➡️ on the Guard Order card until they face a path they can move into. If they have turned 360 degrees around without finding a path, they end their activation.
Yes he ended is full movement on the 🔃 so he should have choose a new path. I think he should be facing the central area. Because he need to find a new path and going back from where he is coming from is not a new path. I could be wrong. Also an graphic of leapfrogging and the movement cost would be great to add to the faq.
@@madmartigan572you’re correct. Everyone gets the ‘find a new path’ rule wrong, and they always end up doing a 180 when they should have just turned to the left or right. Also, leapfrogging doesn’t count as extra movement, the rulebook is pretty clear on it.

@chrishamm2515 ah. Thanks for the clarification on that too. I really wasnt sure whether id missed something in the rules on that one.
Awesome videos man! Oddly Entertaining, keep them coming 💪🏼
Keep them coming. Been playing the campaign also. Currently at scenario 4. Great game so far.
Agreed, I just finished Psyco Mantis last night and absolutely loving it!
Another great video. Loving these.
@16:51 when you come inline of sight of the guard and ocelot don't they attack first? Or do you first end all of snakes action before this happens?
@@gamefreak203 gaurds only attack on their turn unless you move through them with a leapfrog then they get to attack in snakes turn.

23:10 you played the wrong gaurd reaction, you did the alert reaction instead of a dead body reaction

So you want him to turn the guard to face the barrier at 8:35??
@@michaelmiller4105no, I’ve edited the comment because he do exactly the same sequence with Ocelot at 12:48 but in the correct order.
