Tommy was much under-rated in his contemporary by most people. He's been a star in the sky on his own for more than 20 years now. Translated song title is "under the stars in the sky"...
I wish Tommy Seebach could be around to see all of the love expressed here. I think he needed to see people expressing their love for his music, needed to see the success of his on, and needed a big hug for the sake of some extra love.

"Alle Mine Tankar", "Moi, Tout Simplement", "Sva Bol Svjeta" were all briliant in their own way

In my opinion, this song is the best ESC entry ever. I sat on a boat between Trelleborg (Sweden) and Sassnitz (Germany) and followed the ESC final of 1993 on a radio. Me girl and I went out and saw the bright stars that covered the baltic sea that night, and heard this song. It was a magic moment in mylife, and Tommy Seebach catched a very special fealing in this wonderful song. Great memories, wonderful song. Denmark 12 points!!!

I love this comment! Given how negative this song ended up being for Tommy in his lifetime, and the flack he got afterwards it is nice that it has meaning for people.

very sad story
He died in 2003, 53 years old. He was at dyrehavsbakken, when he collapsed. In the ambulance he suffered a heart attack. And despite arriving at Gentoftesygehuset minutes after, and the effort of the doctors he died, very sad indeed.
Even when i don't know a word of what he's singing, i always loved this song so much. Thank you Tommy for your talent... hugs from Portugal.
I will try to explain the song as good as I can but I can’t translate it 100% cuz some danish phrases can’t be translated without sounded ridiculous BUT

I remember as a teenager watching this contest. At the time this song didn’t stand out to me. It’s only years later I appreciate how underrated it was.

Soooooooooo underestimated song! I was 23 years old and i couldn't understand why a such artistic and emotional song ranked in the last positions. Anyway a beautiful song remains always a beautiful song!

It is one of the better Danish songs but i think Birthe Kjaer with Vi Maler Byen Rod from 1989 is better.

So underrated and now in a very beautiful cover by Jóhanna Guðrún(Iceland 2009) who sang it at the baptism of your young baby girl. Undir stjörnubjörtum himni is the Icelandic version.

True. It is quite similar. Both Abba and Tommy is related to the schlager genre of music, so chances were good.
Such a lovely song! I liked it back in 1993 ans couldn’tsee why it was so overseen by the juries. It’s a wonderful melody and the lyrics are beautiful. One of the best in a very strong Eurovision year. And my Gosh, I can’t believe it all happened almost 30 years ago!

1:55-2:13 is one of the best parts of any song in eurovision history.
I remember watching this on TV and was convinced Tommy would be the winner. I had no idea what the lyrics said and of course Google Translate and the Internet were not in everyone's home at this point. Now I can see the translation, it is truly beautiful. I also like Disco Tango...but that is another story.

Song very underrated.... and for Seebach was end of the line.... He continued to drink after the huge critics in Danish media, because the bad position excluded Denmark of the next contest, very sad his future, he was more and more alcoholic...😥😥😥😥

Very underrated song. It flaws by the dramatic ballads. But in these times its the music that makes me happy THE MOST. every single day there ''s horrible news everywhere and the only thing i can think in these moments is: I wish people and the world were more like Tommy and his music: a never ending sunshine. Sad it was he who passend away far too soon. Its realy tragic 😣.

Jeg elsker Tommys musik, jeg synes, at han var alt for undervurderet i sin samtid og døde alt for tidligt. Når det så er sagt, synes jeg, at lige netop denne sang er for tung og pompøs i Tommys version. Der foretrækker jeg faktisk Rasmus'.
