It's ok to leak water from your eyes. That's what my g'daughter called it when she was a very sm person. But my question is who doesn't tear up when you listen to Dimash, you automatically get the goosebumps then your eyes are leaking. You're amongst family & we understand completely. It continues to happen to me even after 7 yrs(I'm 71)being a dear. Pure love & respect for this gentle, kind & a old soul gentleman. You will continue to be amazed & very surprised @ his vocal acrobatics. There's not another who can compete with his smooth leaps through the octaves. A master for the masters to admire & learn from .

Dimash is using Sprechgesang vocal style for this song. This is an operatic slow speak singing style developed by the germans that did some crossover into contempary music in the 1960's.
Love is like a Dream is a very popular choice among the Dears and many cry or tear up. I honestly believe that one of the biggest differences between non-Dears and those that become Dears is a capacity for empathy and love. A Concert with travel vlogs and pre-parties makes this glaringly obvious every time.

It doesn't really matter which one it is, even if requested by a Dear, we have seen all of them.

Love Is Like A Dream was written by Igor Krutoy (the man on the piano) for he Russian singer Alla Pugacheva in 1994. Dimash sings it totally differently. And in my opinion much more beautiful.
I have many Dimash songs that I consider favorites and I can't decide which one is better. However, I can say with certainty this one song is my absolute favorite song. Love Of Tired Swans. It wasn't until I started listening to Dimash that I realized how incredibly beautiful songs are in Russian. Unfortunately it is also a very difficult language, at least for me. What fascinates me is that in many songs that we know, Dimash's voice sounds now much deeper in the lower notes. He must have worked pretty hard on it. I love it.

Last weekend in Budapest he also sang the song. He was great. I still get teary-eyed when I think about it. The whole concert was a great, unforgettable experience. If you get the chance, you definitely have to see him live.
