- This video is in memory of Booger who unexpectedly passed away the night after this video was completed. She changed so many minds about reptiles and she is the one that made me fall in love with Leachies the day I brought her home. She will be forever missed and she was loved by many.
That tiger salamander is stunning. A Brazilian rainbow is an unusual pick for a first snake. Amazing species to keep, though, and does great if properly cared for.

What do you do with your animals when you go out of town? I know that plenty of them don’t need to be fed every day, etc. but it seems like you have quite a few crested geckos, for example, and they require daily maintenance.
Oh, and I was trying to keep track but I kept getting distracted by the cuteness 😂 how many animals was that?
The veiled chameleon is freaking gorgeous; are they very they high maintenance? I have no intention of getting one anytime soon, but I’d like to one day.

Oh my gosh! I'm shocked to hear this about Booger. I'm so, so sorry. Booger was the reason that I started becoming interested in leachies and wanting to learn more about them. I've really started to favor leachies. They've become my favorite gecko. I have no doubt that you gave her a great life and have been the best owner for her. :D

What do you mean by the "fires up" and "fires down" of the geckos?
Achyut nanduri They change colors based on temperature, humidity, and stress. When they get really dark, it’s firing up. When they are light, they are fired down. They usually fire down when sleeping and fire up to hunt at night. 💕

cristals snow No, turtles shells are connected to their spine. They have the same shell for life and it grows with them as they grow
