Hello, you don't need this tool when replacing cells in mini. At least for mini1 and mini2 you didn't need it. You just have to be sure when changing cells to have the same voltage, otherwise the battery will go after powering up into error because of unbalanced cells.

just one question. i tried to change the cycle count but after changing the program just show "you entered value = 0x0A = 10A" until then only. the program hang already and cannot press anything anymore. need to close the program forcely. any idea why? thanks for the help
@@carsdrone3721 ok got it, first i "unseal" then read info then change cycle and it works. before i unseal and clear PF2 before i change the cycle and it always hang. now ok. thanks a lot able to replace the 4 cells and now its working.

I also tried to modify the cycles count and every time the software crack down so i close it and open again and the cycles still the same so it is nt making any change. Thanks for the tutorial! I'm also getting an "Error: could not perform smbus read 0x00". I changed to all ground pins and tried on 3 batteries (2 dead and 1 working). Same error for all ground pins for all 3 batteries.

As i said in the video ,sometimes you have to try another ground pin or charge dead batt and right after that connect to Cp2112 this step to active the board so it can communication with cp2112 and we can unlock it later

I have 3 batteries that were in storage and are dead while one battery is functional. The good battery also doesn't connect via CP2112. Please help
@@gerjayson96 No i don't said you to charge the cell . Plug the dji charge to the board and right after that connect to cp2112 If you still can't connect maybe the board is dead and you need to buy a newone
Because dji lock the chip , so we need to unlock it , and after that we can change the parameter or clear the fault ( when disconnected batt cell or cell error ) and make batt live again

it is hard to tell because i don't know what the warning is . but i assume maybe it because your battery is imbalance . you should check the voltage of each cell by dji app
Hello, i have a problem with the software. Everything works fine until the clear pf2, it starts and it says everything is successful but than the software gets stuck and it freezes every time. What can i do? I tried it so often, it happens with all three batteries. Maybe its because im running 32 bit dji battery killer? Is the a 64 Bit version of the software?
I never get this issue . The most important thing is you have to calibration the battery so the board can know the real capacity of the pack If you don't the board may wrong and % of battery wrong so voltage can drop too low , and the board will shutdown to protect the battery

@@leimye you need to reset all data and them change the design capacity to the new cell so the board can measure correct

Because i foget to unlock batt first so the program is freeze so i have to do it again after unlock the batt
do not forget after using this program, the battery controller may turn off in flight, this is all at your own peril and risk

Disassmeble the battery and Try shorting the +and -. Then the BMS will be unlocked. Then try th process in DJI battery killer
