@@robevery-iy4rwI can confirm this is all Kyle’s work, I’ve chased workings before at same time as him in Scotland and it is possible to beat a train for reasons like pathing stops, station stops and slow linespeeds. Very enjoyable chasing trains - but also highly stressful 😅
Hi my name is Phil I did 50yrs on the footplate I started at Edgeley shed in 1961 I did my bit on steam locomotive I finished at Longsight as a driver in2011 and I have driven a number of locomotives in my time Regards Phil.
@philipholt9112. That is impressive. My father-in-law also got 50 years on the footplate 1944 - 1994. Drove GWR Kings to 165s ! My railway career was cut short by redundancy, but I ended up as National Operations Standards Manager in charge of railway operations, England, Scotland and Wales, and representing GB rail ops at the EU (UIC and ERA). Only driven one loco, a Hungarian Gigant MAV Class V63 / 630 electric loco of 12,000 hp across Hungary. Cabrides include 08, 24, 31, 37, 45, 47, 56, 57, 66, 67, 73, 86, 87, 90, 91, HST, 101, 105, 116, 142, 143, 144, 150, 153, 156, 158, 165, 168, 170, 175, 180, 221, 305, 307, 310, 312, 313, 315, 317, 319, 321, 322, 357, 360, 365, 377, 390, 421, 442, 444, 450, 458, French CC72100, X4500, Spanish FEVE 1900, Portuguese 1800, 1931, 1961, Austrian 2143, Hungarian M61, M62, V63, Italian L500, German 232, 233, Danish MY, Canadian F40PH2, 25 Tonner, 50 Tonner.
