I think now that Miss A is staying and baby Wilder is yours, I think your stress levels are going to be way down and with God helps you will get pregnant. A word of a vice it was given to me as a new mom never let your babies sleep with a bib around their neck because they can get caught up in it and choke their selves always have my child sleep with the big van until the doctor and the nanny told me not to
Don’t stress so much about your house. The county isn’t looking for an immaculate house...... in fact that’s probably a red flag. No one with 2 children has a super tidy house. They are just making sure it’s appropriate space for a baby

Did you know that adoption was a possibility with miss A when she first came? 🥰
Found this first time and as an adoptive mother of two grown children ( 28 and 31) this brought floods of memories back. Both my babies came straight from hospital . Many continued blessings to your family. As a side note! I am a very happy and blessed grandma now of two perfect grandsons!

I love your story. I love how it is all coming together for you. God blessed us all at once also. My husband and I tried to get pregnant for 2 1/2 years. Finally got pregnant and then lost our baby. We were fostering two boys and we found out that we were going to be able to adopt them. We found out we were pregnant a month after our loss. We adopted our boys March 17, 2020 and gave birth to our little girl September 27, 2020.
What a beautiful story that stemmed from such loss. Bless you for sharing.

Time really does fly my 4th and last baby is 5 months old already 😭 I'm so happy for you guys! We didn't have fertility issues but our #3 and #4 took long (#3 after some procedures so werent sure we would be able to conceive again or go term) and we almost gave up on both.

My husband and I dicussed adoption had we had trouble having kids but we fortunately had no issues with that our 7 children being a testament to that lol. But had we been unable to have children of our own we had most likely adipted

Congrats on an amazing year already! We’ve been waiting 2 decades to adopt (we had a mean, aggressive biting dog for 17 years, so we had to wait until he was gone, but right before he died, we moved into an RV and after 3 years living in it, we finally bought a house! We will be going through foster care as well but adopting already waiting older kids.
This is the second time in two days that I’ve heard someone say they’re going to name their kid Wilder or that they named their kid Wilder. Cool.

Our foster care home visit was concurrent so it’s useable or both foster care and adoption. We were chosen to adopt our foster kids in March of 2020. Termination happened Dec 2020. We are just getting disclosure and after that has been reviewed, we will get an adoption date. But from selection to adoption it’ll be over a year.

Elayna (1st I’m sorry for so many comments. I write them as the video goes on because I will forget.) What all does a walk through consist of? I’ve heard it mentioned from several people but I don’t know what it means.
Couple tips for his formula. If you hold the bottle over the open formula container while you pour the scoop into the bottle, you won’t have to clean your counter so much, the spillage will fall back into the container. 😉 also if he’s tolerating using similac pro-advance and you have a Costco, switch to Kirkland proCare, it’s the same stuff and only $20 per tub. It’ll likely last you a week to 10 days per container. My twins were half formula fed half breastmilk and that’s how long we were able to get from it.

Newborn schedules- as soon as you think you understand their schedule, they change it :). Tip in case it helps..if you make formula in a tupperware or glass bottle morning and night and then prefill the day/night bottles it gives time for the bubbles to settle so less gas. You also have a little spare to top off as needed when they start their random growth spurts. Makes is easy to grab bottles if you need to leave unexpectedly, too. Both kids are goregous!

Just wanted to let you know, when you are telling miss a she is in her forever home there is a moment you can see her entire face (she leans into camera view for just a second). Wasn't sure if that is an issue or not.
Miss A said it before they formally told her. She already knew what they were going to say!!!
