- Thanks for watching Jack's "CLASSIC SERIES".
This was filmed on the Monongahela Railway in southwestern Pennsylvania in October 1997. Several clips are at mile 80 at Wayne Tunnel, north outside of Waynesburg, PA and is still in service. The Waynesburg Southern, south of Waynesburg, is out of service south of the Manor Branch to Bailey Mine, since all the mines on that line are now closed and have been tore down. So the last two clips, White Cottage tunnel, and Pine Bank are now out of service.
Please be sure to check out my many other classic clips from the 1970's up to today. There is sure to be something for everyone. Thank you,
God Bless

Thanks for sharing!!
Amazing footage!
I'm enjoying all your recent Conrail action Jack !! 👍
Outstanding video!!!!! 👍💯
Great stuff. I'd love to railfan that area, for the remaining coal traffic, but I think I'd rather just go to Horseshoe.
Fat fingered that one! I meant to like the video as anything of the old Monongahela is always appreciated!
I could not ask for more! Jack, any footage of the Cumberland mine rr?
I got pictures of Cumberland Mine RR, no video sorry to say.
So were all the signals out of service on this line? Those at mp80 did not seem to be on.
Thats a good question. They never did light in either direction.
