Its a shame they could have gotten clear for another season on adult swim, but it never happened, it would have been perfect for the demographic of adult swim, adults, not teen girls that dont pan toward this kind of stuff
This underrated master piece deserved better. It was only cancelled because the promotion of it was awfully done which led to poor reviews. Even after they stopped the airing to re-promote the show and then release the last few episodes, it still tanked because it was still poorly promoted.
Plus the network it came out on didn't know what kind of shows and audience it was going to cater to yet, so they signed off on this show while they were grabbing at everything to find it, but since animation takes time when the show was ready to premiere the channel had finally found the kind of shows and audience it wanted to reach and it was not the kind who would watch this.
dude i did a whole video on mission hill, the fact that this show never got a second season, AND Warner Bros. denied a revival *AND* refused to release the rights to characters they'll never use is immoral, and a tragedy. It genuinely hurts my feelings. It could have been one of the best shows ever, it still *is* one of the best shows ever. It captures daily social interactions so perfectly. I feel like there ought to be a funeral.
@@gracie-C3 thats why they didnt bring it back. It was all about stuff from the 90s and early 2000s and they felt it would loose the identity without it
This was a failed cartoon on The WB before people found it on Adult Swim. Same with The Oblongs, and maybe Baby Blues, but I don't see many people clamoring over that.
@@canaisyoung3601 This show was screwed over by the network just like the Dilbert show. Also, people DO clamor over Oblongs, just not as much as Mission Hill.
The official website states Mission Hill is a mix of Mission Hill in Boston (only miles away from where creator Bill Oakley went to college), Mission District in San Francisco, Silver Lake in Los Angeles, Wicker Park in Chicago, and Williamsburg in Brooklyn. The exact location of Cosmopolis has never been revealed, as it is a mix of East and West Coast cities
Everybody og until suddenly nobody has any memory left for anymore music/movies shows and content to watch or ctiqie/analyze for quality control or even anything or worse if it all becomes corrupted etc and is no longer able to be ofund from original source.. an then one jas to start all over.. or try to choose the 238 songs or several hours music more wisely pn their dsi xl or 2ds etc.
I can't believe this show didn't even get a full season, this was a great series!

This show creeped me out, I think it's the yellow/green eyes
Me and my brother got in trouble as kids for calling up our principal and doing the, "penis, penis, penis" bit, we regret nothing
5:12 - MATH. Not even once.
This show deserves a second chance
These seem like fairly oddparents without context or really any cartoon without context.
i don't wash dishes so haha
I’m so glad that someone took the time to upload clips of such a nostalgic show! It’s just so grea- penis penis penis penis.
That "Weekly Supremacist" joke caught me off guard.
that's a magazine i could subscribe to! canada has never been worse off.
0:10 - spongebob angry

bring this show BACK !!!
Nahhh, I don’t want this shows reputation to get butched like clone high. Unless it’s independently made with its original creators
They tried but couldnt think about how. They were gonma make a show about gus and wally but couldnt figure out how as well
Idk I don’t think this show could exist outside of that 90s alt culture, it would completely change the mood of the show

yeah theyre totally gonna hear a random guy on the internet

4:03 to 4:10 - That was totally intentional and you deserve more view for it, NDX. 👍
It in fact was lmao
Gone way too soon
2:10 this show takes place in New York? I noticed the Brooklyn bridge
Mission Hill is suburb near Boston I’m pretty sure
I'm almost certain it's San Francisco

The jokes good when it’s written by the right people, south park is a good example.
*CAKE as their theme was how I knew this show was an instant classic*
