I actually grew up around Wilhelm in the 80’s and early 90’s. Being a kid from south central Los angles and grandson of a professional fighter named Henry Davis, I was always meeting boxers. Wilhelm was always a nice guys around us. One night in 89 ( I think), Wilhelm brought over a video cassette tape and said “ This is for you Rick!” I went and put it in the video player and it was a finished cut of Ghostbusters 2 3 weeks before it was to come out! The next day I had about 25 kids over watching GB2 in my grandmothers room 😆. All the things I saw in this short documentary Wilhelm never showed that side. RIP Wilhelm

Hmmm... the frank story he tells about him in Hollywood might explain why he is trashed in the after death articles. Even in this video they use all this words against him while showing no evidence to support them. It really seems he was screwed all his life.

Are you saved? If you died tonight would you go to heaven or hell?
The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. Although God's creation was created perfect, having no death, sickness and disease, the creation became corrupted through Adam and Eve in them disobeying God. In this rebellion the creation became fallen through the curse of sin and mankind became separated from God. This world is fallen, but God offers reconciliation to him through his provision at the cross. Ultimately God will restore his creation to perfection when he returns but those that who reject his offer of redemption will remain condemned by their sins and go to hell.
      John 1:1,14 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD.
[14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH , and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
      John 1:10 KJV

I truly hope one day that Brandon can relaunch this series on quirky, eccentric & often times misunderstood & under written about character actors in the mainstream. A lot of them have often times led _VERY_ oddball, extreme & unique lives outside of the lime lite and few interactions with their fans. So documenting them online is a way to keep interest in them going.
If Brandon does relaunch this series in the future with a different name, or if he ever buys back its original title, I'd love for him to do one on the late/great stuntman & character actor Ted White. He's actually had two books written about him. He led a fascinating life, career-wise.

His story reads like a bizzaro world version of Arnold Schwarzenegger. His performance in Stroszek is quite remarkable and shows the potential he had if he had gotten his demons under control. In the end, I feel sorry for him as it seems the psychological trauma of his mother's abandonment created an angry and bitter person. It's also probable he suffered untreated brain trauma like CTE from the years of boxing and wrestling.

It kinda suited him quite well. I still remember having heard of his death and was really saddened by the news :( I think the "Non" interview, where he refused to say a damn word, is still one of the most boss moments ever.

11:53 I have his former girlfriend sitting next to me. Norbert Grupe was nothing in private life then this scene. He was very caring, a provider and someone who people could really build on. Everybody could trust him, he was beyond cheap scraping for monies.
In private life he knew a lot of famous and socially important people in Germany.
He was absolutely not aggresive in private life. And civilised, that's why all these famous people connected with him. So to answer your question if he was in prive just as rude as on the screen/ring, : No he wasn't, he was the opposite and very civilised.

Okay think this for second. Norbert Grupe, 6'3 225 Pro Wrestler, took up acting became famous for Vigo the Carpathian, Now imagine, Vigo the Carpathian vs THE UNDERTAKER. What a Paranormal gimmick match that could have been. Both would sit up like the dead after getting knocked down but have totally different Brawl Styles in the ring. If booked right and played right, that would have been big money for Taker and Norbert, cause Vigo vs Taker would have been great.

He was big and he pretended to be bad until he became bad. I hung around him for awhile , but thought this is fun until we got into the real stuff, dope smoking, pills, beer drinking, pool halls, fights, women.

I'm glad, too. And I'm glad Nobert's dead as well. Absolutely horrendous people.
