Learning Godot, 2D Game Dev - Attempt at Player Movement

Going through the Godot tutorial before making a game of my own. I have used Unity in the past, built simple game engines myself, and have coded in a variety of languages. But I thought I'd give Godot a try, as it seems to be on the up and up.
