They use the players currency where they are at, so the player doesn't get confused or have to convert it themselves. He could be in Sweden playing with Kronos currency, which 10,000 Kronos is roughly equal to $1,000 US, or he could be playing with a really devalued currency like from Venezuela, like the other guy mentioned, which wouldn't be worth crap in US dollars.

That is a straight and they pay you on that bet. The left bet is perfect pairs. If you get 2 4s with the suit that's a suited pair and it pays more than if you get just a colored/mixed colored pair.
When you say it's your last hand, don't bet so much. If you lose a big one, you're more apt to keep playing to attempt to win it back. Even if you win, a person wants to keep playing as if you are on a winning streak. Bet an average amount, then walk...win or lose.
