Nobody can convince me that AS5 is not the worst.
The only thing it has going for it is Alexis & Juju but I liked seeing both of them more in AS1.
The best thing about AS5 was "you're a liar and this is why Derrick don't like you."
I always thought it was the worse before the riggory of AS8. Both are Bottom 2
I absolutely adored Juju on this season, she deserved the crown the most in AS5. Excluding her top tier run on UKVSTW.

I was surprised by All Stars 4 being so low, and All Stars 5 being so high. I think they both suffered from fans' immediate reactions to controversial eliminations/winners. If people rewatched them, I think they would realize they're much better/worse seasons, respectively.
8 and 5 are by far the worst seasons of All Stars.

5 has some of the most boring challenges. I literally remember nothing about the She-M-Z challenge.
Honestly, I don’t care and I’m just gonna say it. I hate the rose colored lenses that everyone is viewing All-Star seven through. Is it the worst All-Star season no but for what could’ve been done with an all winter season it was such a disappointment for me you know, seasons that we can tell they edited it to make it a lot more dramatic andgive queens villain edits will this season they over edit it to make it seem too much like best friends race even to the point where the girls spoke out clear favoritism by far. I don’t understand why everyone loved it. All stars eight was bad for me, but it made sense after All-Star seven
5 for me. The challenges were terrible, the season was boring, and the drama it had was just vile and not one bit entertaining.

Mera I love your videos, I would like to know how many people ranked tho, because maybe AS1 has more numbers because less people saw it than UKvsTW and that affects the final number so I would love if you add in next IMDB rankings the ammount of people that voted also to see how many people watched.
Imdb ratings mean absolutey nothing, some of these seasons are voted by less than 300 people, that wont even be 0.01% of the viewers. I never understand why people put so much focus on them.

1. AS2 (literally the best season of drag race ever)
2. AS7 (gives AS2 a run for its money but that talent show twist with the 3 badges was frustrating to watch)
3. AS6 (so many good redemptions on this season, but some mild rigging throughout)
4. AS3 (honestly a great season despite some rigged eliminations, i.e. Aja & Shangela)
5. UKvsTW2 (honestly a great season with a great cast, an anticlimactic end though)
6. AS4 (for all the sh*t it gets, it’s honestly not that bad besides those last three episodes)
7. AS8 (overall fine, not a fan of how Heidi was treated at all and a lot of the showings were lackluster)
8. CAvsTW1 (a fever dream of a season with bad challenges, but a likeable cast saves it)
9. UKvsTW1 (also not as bad as people make it out to be besides the eliminations - but that also makes it more iconic)
10. ESAS1 (literally not that bad but it gets stale when you have a clear frontrunner dominating the entire season)
11. AS9 (leave the non-elimination format to the All Winners seasons, please and thank you)
12. AS5 (this would be last if it wasn’t for Jujubee’s redemption arc and Miz Cracker being great in the challenges)
13. AS1 (I like how even the drag race universe kind of erases this season from everyone’s memories, and for good reason, besides that first Untucked episode)

I will never unerstand the loath for all stars 4. I get the terrible ending, but overall the series was so good. It deserves to be above 1, 3 and 5 without a doubt.

But you look at something like All Stars 2 and how good the cast matched together and how well every body just seemed to know each other already. That's something that I don't think we can have today so much with 16 US seasons on top of the international seasons and spin-offs The girls just don't work together on the same scale anymore. And if they do that's great but there's still so many and they don't have the same tunity is together outside of drag race to then bring that dynamic and drama back onto the show. Even somebody like Ginger and Katya that had just come off a season their season had just aired me basically and they were back on the TV but they were able to work because so much of the rest of the cast of each other and had been working together and make that helps

I would argue that the AS3 jury twist wasn’t bad, it might actually be what saves the AS format of queens voting each other out since you can’t play dirty and expect the eliminated girls to reward you for it, Manila-ing someone becomes a lot harder. What makes it bad is that it’s a last minute twist instead of it being present from the very beginning. Had they started the season off with imtroducing Bebe and then immediately there after announced the jury twist, I think AS3 is a completely different, and better, season.
that's a good point... that would've made the dynamic of the queens a lot different if they know they had it coming and they would have that thing in mind during the competition
all stars 8 would probably be the bottom of my list, and 5 should be WAY lower. this list is out of whack, we need a new rating system.
all winners was way too long for no eliminations. Have it be more like a talent showcase for 5-8 episodes. It just was randomly scored and held no competition.

I think Espana was rated low because of the treatment of Saggitaria. I don't think she was treated well (though I also think she acted quite unpleasantly on the season too). But I don't think it brought the season down that much, it was a very good season full of talent and the judging was pretty spot on, I thought.
My ranking: AS1, AS4, UKvtW1, AS8, AS3, AS6, EAS, AS5, CvtW, UKvtW2, AS7, AS2. I find what brings a lot of allcstar seasons down is the judging, sometimes it just makes no sense - and I mean tops and bottoms rather than what the Queens decide.
im surprised all stars 6 is so high. If you sat people down with uk vs the world season 2 vs as6 they would HANDS DOWN like uk vs tw 2 over all stars 6. This was okay but it kept going and was SO BORING nearing the end. There are AT LEAST 3 episodes that can go and it changes nothing.

It definitely feels like anytime these lists come up, you'll always find the top seasons (whether it's episodes or promi looks etc) being a mix of:
All Stars 2
Drag Race Season 6
Drag Race Season 9
UK Season 2
France Season 2
España Season 2
AS6 needs to be bottom half and AS4 is top 3
On Drag Race Espana All Stars, there is a content creator on TH-cam called “belakboy” and he has a video how one challenge win on Episode 3 was the downfall of that season. Drag Sethlas made the outfit that outfit with all mirrors and was in the Top. Which I think was the only obvious choice that the judges were favoring Sethlas. But Sethlas still slayed everything else so she is the rightful winner. I just think it’s that episode that put a bad taste in the fans mouth.
How’s AS5 not a the bottom of the list?
I really think US AS1 should really be the lowest or 2nd lowest because of partner/tag team system. I really think that season didn't let anyone shine through.

I think the difference between a Vs the world & Global All Stars season would be the representation too? Like the Vs The World get more representation from the host country/US/UK whereas Global All Stars gets equal representation from the franchises?

DR All Stars España gets so much backlash basically only because of the ball challenges impact, Belak Boy made an amzing video about it, but essentially, Sethlas gets not critiqued for the look she made, and just praised for one of her brought looks, and when Sagittaria rightfully calls out production, production tries to gaslight the viewer into dismmissing her, but this only manages to make Sethlas look like someone that needs productions favoritism, and tarnishes her slaying every other episode.
I doubt it will ever happen but I want an AS that finally knocks AS2 out of the top spot.

Every competitor being a challenge winner, Rolaksatox’s inability to send each other home, and PhiPhi VS everyone created the perfect storm. Dramatic eliminations, iconic performances, and pure talent? There is no season like AS2 and I’m unsure there ever will be again, fans need to let the dolls be Drag Queens and be messy, shady, and sometimes downright sickening.
Why is All Stars 8 not at the lowest??? I did not even bother to finish that season. Love Jimbo but that season was so boring 😂. Jessica should have been in the finale. A Top 2 finale is just terrible!

Naomi destroyed AllStars 4 and even Monet Beat Trinity in the final lipsynch, she wasnt second best of the second when Manila left. It was Monique. A double crowning should be safed for UK Season 4.
All Stars 4 was actually really good except for those last 3 episodes, Manillas Elimination, that awful acting challenge and then the awful edited double win

I know it's me only basically, but All Stars 2 was never all that for me. The mirror Crack was amazing, but it's not one I've ever wanted to re-watch, other than Read You, Wrote You.
The Fame Games did not pay off for me. They marketed as a competition for unaired runways, but then one of the girls with the worst looks won. The talent show multiplier was BS.
The recency bias in these ratings is wild. AS8 was so ass and AS5 is like my least favorite all stars and maybe season period if you don’t count DU1
