nothing against you but being in a wheelchair causes 3 problems with the mark one 1. very loud inside tunnels. 2. very crowded in busy situations like rush hour. 3. the lip of the doors makes it hard to get on without someone having to push me on. (and yes I know that's a problem with all the trains but with the mark one it feels like a bigger lip)
@@aidankelly5853 Those are absolutely very fair points. From a logistical standpoint, they are very bad - old, small, narrow, and have barely-functioning ACs. Trying to get a wheelchair on is probably very difficult, especially during rush hour. However, I will disagree on the tunnel noise issue. I take both the Millennium and Expo Lines to and from work. The MK2s in the Burquitlam tunnel and just as loud as MK1s (and all the other models) in the Columbia/Dunsmuir tunnels.

Just read the description and At that point of splitting the Millennium Line into 2 sections, they should make the Evergreen Line it’s own line, like what they had planned before they started calling it an extension
Something really important I need to know if there is a way to track these mark 1 skytrains I want to ride these 1991/1995 skytrains and it takes a while to get one.
These are mostly decommissioned and only run during peak hours because Translink keeps building new lines but doesn't have enough trains for all the lines.
@@GYTransit my dad went on a mark 1 i believe, that princess diana rode in, he doesn’t remember the number but i assume it’s a MK1, there was even a plaque, i assume it’s OOS or super rare to keep it in god condition

Unfortunately, there isn’t. Some attendants have an app that does allow them to track, but it’s available for attendants only.
