I am going out on a limb here but it seems to me that unity is natural to human nature. We are easily persuaded to go along with the “crowd” to maintain unity and order. Sometimes we maintain unity to our own detriment and the detriment of the social fabric. So, we also need discernment and the courage to stand in the truth.
Professor William Hatcher once pointed out that "unity" is not mere "uniformity", as though everyone might be run through a meat-grinder to yield one consistent grade of hamburger!
Whatta u do when your loved ones are being drafted to do wars and killing without your consent and w you being a bahai..and someone who is totally against wars and racism..then how do you stay away from politics? How do u submit to the government if the government is so..corrupt?
