depends where on the island you want to live, here in carmen 100k will get you a small one bed apt as its the main tourist resort on the island. if you wanted somewhere outside the main tourist spots your money will go much further. great thing about this island is nowhere is too far away from anywhere, its quite a small place.
rent wise... well thats harder as there is an extreme shortage of properties available, 1 beds tend to go for around 6-700 a month, most people tend to rent to holiday makers as there is a demand for it
Plenty of clubs and bars to keep you occupied mate. Centro is where you'll find all the clubs. Island bar and Heineken bar down in old Town is always a good night.
Chris Bratt well put it this way the main strip is about 2km long lined with bars restaurants and shops plus you've got the old Town which is packed with bars and restaurants, as to how many.. God knows haha hundreds... Literally. Yea some great places for food here too mate plus there's an English supermarket called overseas that stocks Iceland and Waitrose, theirs a lidl here too. You'll be fine food wise.
