i got same soldering iron , but it is getting worse , it do not catches solder, gets black quickly . and if i rub it with sand paper to to catch solder, it again turns black as soon as i turn it on
Your soldering iron is good, you just need to change the soldering tip. The soldering tips get black if you set your soldering iron to too high temperature for a long time. You can prolong the life of your next soldering tip by using at lower temperatures.

I am using it myself and it is working good so far. Just use sllightly low temperature to avoid the tip oxidation.
