    The best detectors in the world !!! why it was not possible to continue small production? I wish you a return to production, customers return to analogues.

    @ 2:35, The coil will only work if the epoxy is poured out of a popcorn cup and onto the winding. This way you get a nice buttery flavor from your targets. LOL. ;)

    Too bad that Tesoro went out of business. They sure made some great detectors. Lifetime warranty, they couldn't be beat for customer service. I still love my Tesoro detectors.

      I bought the Tesoro lobo super traq,
      I purchased the machine online,
      it is about brand new, I even bought
      a extra AA battery pack for it,
      it came with a hip mount as well,
      I wanted to find the best condition

    I love my four Tesoro's. I've got a Lobo Super Traq, a Vaquero, a Deleon, and a Mojave. Wouldn't trade any of them. Its just sad that Tesoro went out of business. I'm glad I snatched up a Mojave. I heard they only made around 150 of them. I keep hoping they will change their minds and go back in business. I don't know exactly why they closed; it may have been their profits weren't keeping up with their overhead, or maybe the owners just lost interest and wanted to do something else. I don't know.

      I think the problem was trying to maintain largely analog and manual knob adjustment detector sales in a touch button and computerized everything display screen world. It's like a department store trying to sell old style manual knob channel changing and volume control black and white tv's in a remote control high definition flat screen tv market. Most people are attracted to the new whizz bang stuff and features. I had a Bandido II Micromax years ago, If I where to get back into detecting again, I would like to have another one of those again.

    • @horseman528
      @horseman528 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@dr.detroit1514 That's why I liked them and still do. They are simple and sturdy and the pin pointing, target separation, and discrimination were as good or better than most. I can hit a quarter at six inches with the Mojave when the discrimination is maxed out. They're good to cherry pick with when hunting in junky areas, but I wonder if that lifetime warranty was hitting them in the pocket book pretty hard with all the detectors that were sent in for whatever reason to repair. I heard James wanted to be a chef and Vince wasn't really all that interested in metal detecting in the first place, but I don't know how accurate that is. Could be just hearsay.

    Copper prices have gone through the roof as well as other precious metals used in wiring and electronic components. It looks like the company also hand builds most of their machines and doesn't rely on automation with factors into their overhead price. I'm buying one of their machines....their are a bit pricey, but are American made and have a lifetime warranty.
