+DanLewisIH&JD A 560 and a 540. We used to have one 580 but the reliability was so crap, we replaced it with two slightly smaller ones. That way if one breaks down the other can keep going. Last summer, the 580 broke down and we missed 5 days of perfect weather. Thanks for the comment :)
+ApplesAlmighty Oh I bet your boss wasn't happy, I've done plenty of tractor work but this is my first summer doing corn carting on a rolling drop, is it hard? Just fill the trailer back to front? I think the trailer I'll be pulling I won't be able to see in as good as yours so worrying about seeing the back?
+DanLewisIH&JD By rolling drop I guess you mean unloading on the move? If so, its not that hard in the end, it takes a bit of practice and getting used to. On the farm, we go a certain speed and the combine driver speeds up and slows down to fill the trailer evenly. They have a better view than we do. And yeah, we have 2 low slung long trailers and they are great because you can see from back to front, but our other trailers are too high so you can't do that. When you can't see at all you are in the hands of the combine driver!
Looks so nice and the sound coming from that JD :O cant wait for harvest again!! thanks for the vid man!! well done! :D I hope to see more!
