    Thank you for this, I always wanted to improve our scrum team. One thing ive notice is that the team always say that there are no blockers but items are not moving towards the sprint goals. Then at the end of the sprint they always have something to say regarding why the items were not resolved.

    • @agilecoach
      @agilecoach  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Did you ask the team why the blockers were not raised? Do they understand the importance of the sprint goal? Are they psychologically safe?

    What are your thoughts on so called “16th minute” items? These are where people can raise topics that they feel warrant further discussion with the team after everyone has given their update. I think they might be an antipattern because they tend to make the meeting go beyond 15 minutes, and after watching this video, it sounds like you might agree.

    • @agilecoach
      @agilecoach  ปีที่แล้ว

      Why would these topics not be in the "updates"?

    • @SlowAside5
      @SlowAside5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@agilecoach Some of the topics might be a bit lengthy. The problem is the entire team is on the call for the discussion, even though some people aren’t working on the task. It’s probably better to just have a separate meeting with the necessary people only.

    if my team size is big like 9 people , should i even then have only 15 min daily scrum??

    • @agilecoach
      @agilecoach  ปีที่แล้ว

      Focus on trying to achieve the goal of the daily scrum in 15 mins

    • @arundharanipragada703
      @arundharanipragada703 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@agilecoach I have tried by discussing only high priority items and impediments..but this is leaving out almost half of the team from actively participating in standup.. so the 15 min rule I think should be for a sizable team .what r ur thoughts..

    • @agilecoach

    Got a strange question but we are in summer....
    Who said summer, said hollydays...
    For a team member where all developpers are in hollydays, does the daily have a sense ?

    • @agilecoach
      @agilecoach  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the daily scrum is a daily planning session. The developers who are working should use this session to plan their day even if it's a single person
