From what I've seen online, The boat glitch happens because the boat gets so close to the ground on its last frame in the air that it thinks it's on the ground, which allows it to take fall damage when it _actually_ hits the ground. It happens at heights of 12, 13, 49, 51, 111, 114, 198, 202, 310 or 315 blocks.
That is because, as we craft the bed, the wool is stretched, woven together and put under tension, enhancing its strength. At least that's my headcannon now.
Clearly 1 wool for one half. Another for the other half. And 1 more for the pillow. Dont know wgere that 3rd plank goes though. They should add a storage slot of 4 spaces lol
In the last one, it actually relates somewhat to a real occurance IRL. For example, the 3rd floor has a massive spike in lethality when it comes to cats jumping out. The 4th floor is somehow safer for them.
Cats only take seconds to rotate, tried this as a kid. I had my cat in my arms, dropped it and they rotated in like a second, dropping on their feet from a height of not even 1.50 metres.

Hey, I noticed no one had provided an answer as to why the boat thing happens. Please pin this. This happens at 49.5, 51.5, 111.5, 114.5, 198.5, or 202.5 blocks, due to a calculation error. The boat provides the extra .5 that is necessary for this glitch to happen. The formula is ((5x)²±x)/2. Acceleration happens to be a constant at 0.04 blocks/tick. 1/0.04 is 25. Every 25 ticks the FallDistance hits an integer and that's when some code breaks. More precisely the boat breaks whenever its vertical position coincides with the y-level it gets stopped at. If you make a command block execute /summon boat ~ ~y ~ with y=0.5 * 0.04 * (x2 - x) + 0.5 then the boat breaks every time for x>12.
But we can clutch even if we fall from the world limit to the ground and never get hurt right??? Cauldron is sus. Zombie Piglin can also burn in lava cauldron. We can also die in lava cauldron in water lol So, cauldron sus

about the last one, i think there can be a certain theoretical scenario where one suddenly decreases falling velocity due to air resistance due to differences in thickness of atmospheric layer
