- this is a review of my Honda fit hybrid 2014 that i have owned for the past 2 years.
This car is equipped with Honda's revolutionary new sport hybrid powertrain which combines a 1.5 litre direct injection earth dreams 4 cylinder engine with a 30 hp electric motor, power delivery is through a 7 speed DCT transmission.
this video covers all the cars features and potential problems.
the test also includes an acceleration test, which was conducted in a safe and controlled environment, be safe on the public roads and don`t ever exceed the speed limits in your respective jurisdiction.

It's actually good that he could drive for that long in EV mode. When he floors the accelerator, and the engine starts at high RPM, it sounds like the SOHC VTEC of the D15B.
Kindly do inform us that how much does it take for 0-100 km/hr ??
I made a blunder in the video, I left the AC on in my acceleration runs so mine did it it in over 9 seconds. With the AC off it should have done it in under 9 seconds

good question. for driver involvement fit is best, for excellent resale value and good fuel economy Aqua is best, i think currently the best OVERALL package is the nissan note, it has excellent space, outstanding fuel economy and it is actually cheaper than the other 2.
if i had to buy one out of the three for myself i would go for the note

Aoa, I have watched multiple videos of Honda fit from TH-cam and found your videos the most helpful in my buying decision. I was offered a used Honda fit 2019 model with low kms. I like the car but cannot afford a note or aqua. I am in need of a fuel economical car however I am slightly hesitant still and worried of the import ban as well as how the car will cope long term. I just wanted to ask what your view is over the battery life of this car and where do you get routine service parts from. Any specific branded oil you use and do any local cars like city or HRV share any parts like air filters etc. and is there any advice for me for buying a used fit with 30K on the odo?

regular maintenance parts like filters are widely available and made locally so wont be a problem, the fits batteries rarely go out so no worries there, the primary reliability concern for this car is the dual clutch, but changing a clutch is pretty straight forward these days and parts are widely available.
The main advantage of hybrid cars is their fuel economy and considering fuel prices these days i dont see their market collapsing any time soon and plus there is no restriction on the import of parts.

Nice review...i have driven honda vezel and its suspension is very hard...i want to know that is honda fit suspension is same as of honda vezel?
you are right, vezel is pretty hard probably contributed by its 18" wheels and lower profile tyres. Fit is much better but definitely not nearly as soft as an Aqua

I've found the note to be actually more spacious than the fit which is already pretty good on rear seat space, boot space is pretty similar to be honest, fit is more of an enthusiasts car but I believe the note is a more well rounded package

i prefer the driving experience of the honda fit but overall the note is a better car, it has newer more efficient technology and has excellent cabin space

Is honda fit 2018 good to buy, as in value for money?
Do you have to turn off CTBA everytime you turn on the car?
Or do you have to turn off CTBA one time, if you don't want to use auto braking. How does it works. I have read some where that auto braking works between 0-30 km/h. Unfortunately I have the same package but it doesnot has a radar . Basically it had a radar but the previous owner took it off so now we have a set of cables tucked in the roof linear above rear view mirror and a CTBA error message on instrument meter but it doesnot has any fault codes.

I laughed when he said 145-150hp. This only makes 108hp + 25or30hp from the electric motor.
nope no need to laugh, the 1.5 litre earth dreams unit that comes in the vezel makes around 130 hp because it is a direct injection unit, i am not sure that the fit has direct injection or not, if not then the engine horsepower would be around 125hp combined with the electric motor that has 30hp would total 155 but because an ICE and electric motor have different levels of peak power and torque thus you can bring that figure down to around about 145 hp.
according to your highly intelligent estimate then it would be 108+30 which totals to 138, so even by your estimate 145 hp is not that far off to what you said
japanese cars especially hybrid cars are notoriously difficult when it comes to finding exact horsepower figures and you definitely cannot trust Wikipedia for that, if you can direct us to a verifiable source that can give us accurate power figures then that would be useful
@@talhaqureshi4916 I'm saying it because I looked st the GP5 brochure. 108hp for the engine. 29hp for the motor. The combined HP is 130hp at the crankshaft due to some inefficiencies in the dual drive process. If the car provided more HP (and torque) than that then the car would have been shipped with 5 lug wheels instead of the 4x100 pattern. If the car could even produce 155hp, then it would have been a B16A Type-R killer with the dual clutch transmission.
@@talhaqureshi4916 also, the GP5 is a port injected engine, not a direct injected engine as it is an Atkinson cycle engine for efficiency.
