I'm approaching 70, bought my first JK, traditional 2Dr. Tricked it out . Love it. Always wanted one. Feel like a kid again, what can I say. It's a jeep thing.
This one i dedicade to my dad! A ww2 veteran who loved jeep's after coming back from the war. Like every veteran after the war, he used them on the farm and drove his jeep everywhere! Rip dad🙏 god bless all veterans, past and present.
Ive got one ive shipped it from Canada iam living in iraq Baghdad In iraq we have only 2 of this 75th anniversary special version Iam so proud of my girl ❤
no...the 9 slot MB was made by ford and willys...and Bantam too. Ford put the "F" insignia on bolt heads and frames to distinguish its "jeeps" from the others. They also had a couple of different slight body differences, such as the toolbox lids by the rear fender wells.
they've made one car... one. Jeep brand has had nothing but strides... and remember it was FCA has done nothing for the brand but make it better. Wrangler Unlimited? FCA. 3.6 Pentastar? FCA. Comforts you would NEVER expect in a Wrangler? FCA. And now rumors of a Wrangler truck? People who like small cars are going to buy the Renegade and Jeep purists will still buy Cherokees, Wranglers and now trucks. I think you're just bitching for the sake of bitching. FCA is doing a good job.
Please come out with a base base model 2 door that's inspired by the Willys. The most basic 2 door Jeep you have is over $30,000 and has too much tech stuff in it.
Each company that owned them was collapsing and was subsequently saved by the next. Kaiser gave us the Iconic CJ-5, the Wagoneer and the Scrambler. AMC gave us the CJ-7 and upgrades, and introduced the Iconic Cherokee. Chrysler gave us the Wrangler YJ, then the TJ and the updated Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4-door, the RUBICON, the Liberty (ok not the best but whatever), the Patriot and the LEGENDARY Grand Cherokee. Fiat brought back the Gladiator, killed the Liberty in favor of bringing back the Cherokee name and expanded the brand to get the younger generation into the Jeep brand with the Renegade and the Compass. th-cam.com/video/JNg0o3SXSN4/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/1QBzCV6I8Ps/w-d-xo.html
petis1976 actually the YJ was an AMC design (it was released about a year, fall of 86 as a 87 model before Chrysler bought AMC. Chrysler bought AMC in April of 87 but didn’t start any changes until December of 87). The Grand Cherokee was also an AMC design, Chrysler just finished to production. And the famed LH platform that Chrysler did so well with in the 90s was based off an AMC design (underpinning the Eagle Premier). Kaiser (who owned Willys) was leaving the automobile business to focus on other manufacturing and sold Jeep/Willys to AMC.

I love jeeps, but wasn’t the 9 slot grills made by ford?

Willy's was 9 Ford's was 7. So in all honesty the iconic seven slot grill we know today, is courtesy of Henry Ford.
@@petis1976 No... Ford Grill was a 9 slot grill. MB was a slat grill until they adopted the Ford designed 9 slot grill.
@@gstone42 Yeah I got that all kinds of twisted.
@@petis1976 No worries :-)

Whaaat?..zero pics?!
love the brand, so stop turning it into fiats....

creature comforts were never apart of a jeep, so stop trying
Nothing about any Jeep says fiat. Even the renegade doesn’t remind me of a fiat. So shut up.
@@pattycarljackson The Renegade is in fact the Fiat 500 platform, however, Fiat told the Jeep designers to make it beefy and to go true 4x4.
Best comment ever

Trying not to be that guy but didn’t Ford build jeeps as well for the war?
Jeeps are great, it's a shame Chrysler came along and bought them...
Jeep has been bought and sold several times. First Willys, then Kaiser, then AMC, then Chrysler.
Each company that owned them was collapsing and was subsequently saved by the next. Kaiser gave us the Iconic CJ-5, the Wagoneer and the Scrambler. AMC gave us the CJ-7 and upgrades, and introduced the Iconic Cherokee. It wasn’t “soldiers” in Guadalcanal, it’s was Marines. It was one of our greatest battles. This video needs to be fixed!!!
And what is a marine!? A soldier!
Just an FYI the Armys 164th infantry was on Guadalcanal.
And now unaffordable to veterans
Mahindra & Mahindra copied your Jeep Wrangler...
