    Featuring accordion maker Marc Savoy and the Savoy family, bow maker Susan Lipkins, luthier Doug Naselroad and the Appalachian Artisan Center Culture of Recovery Program, and artist Richard Jolley, whose monumental glass and steel sculpture inspired a violin concerto.

    I really love this show. As an European (& considering I have never visited the USA) I am sure I have a distorted view of this country, "craft in America" opens a window to a part if the country & their people that is creative & beautiful.
    I would love to see two episodes, one based on "the culture of wool: spinning, weaving & knitting" & another based on "natural colours: creating pigments & inks & dyeing textiles with plants & minerals". I Hope that whoever writes the show & decides the topics reads this comment 😁😁😁😁

    The cajun music was lovely, but when the family made gumbo with roux from a jar- I could hear my mama saying "that ain't how it's made!" Lol but it is to be expected that short cuts would be taken- from a family that would rather spend their time playing beautiful music than cooking! Laissez les bons temps rouler!
