- Welcome! In this episode I simplify the logic gates and go over more of my favorite circuits!

There's a few more gates that you can do. But to be honest they aren't use hardly ever so I wouldn't worry about the x/or gate.
Glad to see you now know what an rsnor latch is. And that's its not a t flip flop.😅
Also with the rail trick when going longer distances you can get one more block of distance by powering a solid block in-between the observer and the rail.
Yeah in my research I found more gates that exist, but, in watching some of the best logical redstoners out there, I noticed none of them use them, so I decided not to include them in the introduction to logic video. As I advance in the series I’m sure I’ll mention them. And yeah I learned the terminology real quick after last episode 😂
This was pretty good man! Im currently editing my first episode of a redstone basics series
They’re so much fun to make, aren’t they?! I’m excited to have the basics out of the way so we can start doing some crazy stuff!
@@LurchyLurchMC yeah I was dragging ass doing this video because the very beginning basics are super boring but they are important
@@Hippyflow90 yeah they really are, it also difficult to find a way to do it that isn’t just a repeat of what’s already out there. But I’ve got a few cool ideas that I think will really help everyone learn a bit!
@@LurchyLurchMC same here man. Let's push each other to teach people more about Redstone. We need more redstoners
@@Hippyflow90 agreed! I’ll def be keeping an eye out for your video!
i have made AND gates work with just a single pison and a repeater, (i know this cuases delay) the pistone extends a block and the repeater lets the redstone jump the gap, if any only when the piston is extended (input b)
Yeah there are a lot of really cool designs out there, once you understand the requirements, it’s fairly easy to come up with all sorts of versions.
For the OR gate just have the levers next to the lamp, no need for a double inversion. For the NOR gate just put the levers on a block with a redstone torch, again no need for double inversion. Both AND gates are just the inversed OR gates with inversed inputs.
No offense but kind of weird you decided to even put a double inversion in the first place
That’s a really valid point. I guess I got so caught up in the diagrams I did t even think about that, thanks!
