I saw an idea for the plastic bags- use an empty Clorox wipes container to store the bags and they can be dispensed one at a time. Maybe the cute one you just bought for the wipes will work for the bags. 🤷🏼♀️
I just said to myself, I have no idea how she’s going to use the mat lol. It’s a great idea but wouldn’t work under my sink either. Not sure if you compost in your location but we compost in Ontario and Amazon has great compostable sponges with a nice scrub side. I bought a black metal sponge holder from Home Goods that I love. Sticks on the side of my farmhouse sink with suction cups and looks good too.
As a firefighters wife I was so pleased to see you had the fire blanket but make it more accessible in case of an emergency. Your organizing looks amazing but placing objects on top of it will make it difficult to pull out in an emergency. Hanging in the inside of the door would work fantastic.

Just a thought, there are a few videos on TH-cam that show how to fold your plastic shopping bags into small triangles for easy storage. Other than that the new storage arrangement is great!
Looks so organized! My husband and I are empty nesters and our under the kitchen sink organization lasts about 2 days! Can’t blame it on small children!
I always straighten under my sink and within few days, it's back in a mess. Yours looks so good. And the container for disinfecting wipes I would've gotten, too.
Thanks for another great motivation video, I bought a flexible mat that can be cut to size for under my sink. Purchased it at Wallmart then just made a slit and cut around pipes so it fit very seamlessly.
Really sorry the under sink mat wouldn't work for you. Their most important purpose is to prevent leaks from destroying your cabinets. We got a leak and got mold growing without realizing it and had to have the cabinets cut out (yes, with a saw) everywhere the mold was. Totally destroyed my kitchen. New house got an under sink mat before we moved in. Bathrooms have sinks too, so they should have a mat also. Pretty shelf paper doesn't protect the wood. The mat contains any water. Small investment to save you thousands and a heap of trouble! 😊
I am just LOVING this series! We have a corner kitchen sink, and that makes it very hard to use traditional organizing products, because the don't fit in straight. Hopefully it will be different in our next house. I have those same Scrub Daddies saved in my Amazon wish list, along with some grey ones. LOVE your grey sponges from TJ's! Love the dispenser, putting that one on my list, also. I'm with you on the island - I love the look for other people, but I want the same color for myself. Great job cleaning up under the sink - I was a little bit surprised that it all came out! Too bad you couldn't cut the mat to fit under the sink, but glad it went to good use. I got all of the adult children in our family those fire blankets for Christmas!, LOL. Mom life... One for my son in college (in off campus housing), one for my daughter, and another for my 30 year old son. I didn't get one for my 21 year old daughter, because she still lives at home, and I did receive a very simple, easy to use fire extinguisher from my Amazon Wish List from my hubs. I would need the labels, because my husband would just put everything together without any rhyme or reason. It turned out beautifully, love it!
Oh how I miss plastic grocery store bags!! I used them so much always but N. J. is a plastic bag free state, so no plastic bags here. We bring our own reusable bags in with us everywhere ( grocery store, Target, Walmart.... everywhere. I just did my under sink reorganization and put 2 lazy Susan type bins that have high sides and I reach and spin to find what I'm looking for and it is working beautifully for me. Nice job! ❤
Hi I had to learning about sizing containers as well! I wanted to share that under my sink is about the same with pluming. So I bought a roll of liner from Walmart. It's by Clorox Solid Grip Shelf Liner. It's not as heavy as a mat but pretty good. You can cut it to size around the pipes. Hope this helps. Also I never heard of the Fire blanket & Glove,. I'm going to order those !!! One thought I had is you know where they are underneath scrubbers but in case of emergency make accessible to others. So I'd put them s in a little clear basket and mount on the inside of door or side. You did a great job thanks for sharing!😀
Now I’m going to have to clean under my sink. It’s always a mess. I’m not sure why. I know I have too much stuff under there. When I see things on sale I buy multiples. And then I cram them under the sink. That’s why it’s a mess. I do have all my cleaning products in a container with a handle, so I can carry it around the house with me. I do have a little extra room. But I can’t reach back to where it is. I keep a big bag in my laundry room for all my plastic bags. And when it’s full. I throw them in the trash. I do not have a garbage disposal. So I have a lot of room. I really wish I did. But this house didn’t come with one. I have some drawer liners under my sink. I bought two rolls from Walmart when we moved in. And I used it in all my cabinets and drawers. And used some in the bottom cabinets. I ran out before I did all of them. I have a towel bar hanging over one of my bottom cabinets. But I think I’m just going to put some hooks on the door. I put my rubber gloves on it and a scrub brush for my ceramic stovetop. Under your sink looks great.
Dollar Tree 2 pack of plastic cutting boards would work great for under your sink. I use plastic flexible shelf liner I buy it in a roll @ Home Depot. I use it in my refrigerator. I cut them to fit my glass shelves. I find junk spilled on it I just take the shelf liner out drop it into warm soapy water and wash and rinse, dry and put it back. It may work under your sink. another item you can use under your sink would be peel n stick floor tiles. You can cut them to size. You could also find them @ Home Depot in the flooring department I think you can buy them stingily Hope this helps.

I bought peel and stick floor tiles and put on the bottom of all my bathroom and kitchen sink cabinets. Easy to install. Wipes and cleans up easily. Put in 10 years ago and everyone is still sticking.
I cleaned under my sink a couple of weeks…something about it makes me feel good! Yours look great. I love those kitchen mats and used them in a couple of our rental properties. My sink is in the island so I can’t use it but love them.
Hang the fire blanket inside an upper cabinet instead, so you can pull it down and out quickly using the black straps as intended. In an emergency you don't want to be trying to undo the blanket pouch.
I'm the same way with not checking measurements. My hubby just shakes his head when I order something and I'm surprised when it doesn't fit. 🤣 Under the sink turned out great Tiffany. I did mine last weekend. Another option since the mat didn't work out is to use peel and stick tiles. That's what I did under my sink. Easy to clean.
I have a tip for your grocery bags under the sink. I tie mine in a knot and they take up a whole lot less space. I fold them in half, from top to bottom, pull tight, fold that in half then make a knot.
Good morning, my home does not have a basement but a slab because I live in the South. I have a floating island as well. My under-sink plumbing is coming out from the back wall. I do not understand why yours was done that way. If you ever have a leak the water will run down in the whole underneath the cabinet. I would not feel comfortable with the electrical outlet being so close to the bottom as well. You could get a shock if water reaches the outlet. I know homes have safety breakers but sometimes they even go. For your floor mat slice the back and cut out the mat (circle) and slide the mat and it shall fit. Use silicon around your hole and that shall help if the water leaks. Just a suggestion. You did a beautiful job. Well done.

We use a dollar store cereal container for our plastic bags. It works great and my son can carry it around with him while he empties trashcans.

Good video,you can cut the silicone mat to fit round pipes and drain, I use the Rubbermaid brand,easy to move if have drain leak or to clean

The inside of your stainless steel can be cleaned with anything, including SOS pads. Its just the shiny outside you want to protect from scratching.

I've found that Scrub Daddy is best to get at Costco if you have membership, they have the best price.
IKEA has a really good bag holder that you hang on your wall and I think Walmart has something similar to IKEA but theirs maybe metal.
