Georgian judoka Tato Grigalashvili became European Champion in 2020 and 202. He won world silver in 2021 in Budapest. He claimed the European U23 title in 2020 in Porec and U23 in 2021. He captured the gold medal at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2021. He took bronze at the Junior World Championships in Zagreb in 2017 and 2019 in Marrakech. He took silver at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2021 and 2022. Tato won gold at the Grand Slam in Düsseldorf in 2020. He won the World Masters in Doha in 2021. He took bronze at the Grand Slam in Tbilisi in 2021. He finished fifth at the 2020 Olympic Games.

Belgian judoka Matthias Casse became World Champion in 2021 in Budapest. He finished with bronze at the 2020 Olympic Games. He already was runner-up at the Worlds in 2019 in Tokyo. Casse won the IJF World Masters in 2019 in Qingdao and Grand Slam in Paris in 2020. Casse was Junior World Champion in 2017. Casse captured European Games gold in Minsk and a bronze medal in Prague in 2020 followed by silver in 2021 and 2022. Matthias Casse is World number one U81kg in 2020 and 2021. He started 2022 well with a victory at the Grand Prix of Portugal.
