A long time ago, I was at some gathering in San Diego once, and I ~think~ I met Margaret Cho. When she came in she yelled in greeting to one of her friends, threw her (own) shirt across the room and embraced them, it was pretty funny. Later we were chatting and sharing a bottle of some kind of spirit. I don't really remember what it was about, nor am I sure how we came to be chatting (I think partly because I was the only Australian in a room full of Americans). Anyway, I remember coming away from the conversation thinking she was pretty cool. The reason I say I ~think~ it was her was because I don't know 100% for sure, but for some reason I always think of her when I recall the incident because I know it was a comedian(and no, it isn't because she's the only Asian American comedian I knew about). I know it's kind of a lame story but it's the only celebrity story I have.
