I remember my mom spoke about her show when I was a kid. All I remember is that she said it was horrible that Margaret almost killed herself by not eating because the network made her feel fat and said she needed to lose weight to get a show.

A long time ago, I was at some gathering in San Diego once, and I ~think~ I met Margaret Cho. When she came in she yelled in greeting to one of her friends, threw her (own) shirt across the room and embraced them, it was pretty funny.
