    Absolutely love your take on Polynesians in the modern world. Upsets me that we have been reduced to entertainment for the masses in the palagi community but I will always stand strong and look after the brownbruthas and sisters in Pasifika. Preach on!!!

    Looking forward to the conversation regarding Manu Samoa financial woes. Is Tuilaepa truly to blame and why or how does he get so much support and loyal following

      @@Idkidk55957after listening to this conversation there are alot of dynamics that have led to Samoas current situation, however the consensus is that he needs to step down. They raised some good points, but for me, I dont understand the amount of loyal support he gets from Samoans living in Samoa. Could you elaborate?

      Tuilaepa doesn’t get much support or a loyal following, him being the head of manu Samoa has nothing to do with Democracy

    • @westsideAUKILANI
      @westsideAUKILANI หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@swisscloud4309 so how has he held that position for aslong as he has? Surely there is a voting system of some sort to how they appoint that position? Even whilst he was PM he had also held that same position as chairman of SRU. That's a conflict of interest right there however people of Samoa didnt feel that way hence continuing to keep him in both positions while he was PM. You say he does not have a loyal following or support, that just doesnt add up does it? I prefer facts over feelings.

    Why does Samoa Rugby keep the same governance when it’s always in the red, year after year?! If you change nothing, nothing will ever change.

    Western Sydney is the hotspot right now but South Auckland has been producing the best Polynesian athletes hands down. Rugby, league and combat sports. South Auckland has produced the best fighters than any other city in the world. David Tua, Mark Hunt, Joseph Parker, Jimmy Thunder, Carlos Ulberg, Sigi Paseleli etc, that’s just South Side, Auckland includes Ray Sefo, Israel Adesanya etc. Robert Whittaker was born in middle more so he counts for South Auckland as well. Auckland city!

    Rugby Samoa have already figured out how to fund the upcoming European Tour without asking people to help.
    They will auction off their chairman during the celebrations of the 100th year anniversary of Rugby Samoa to the highest bidder.😂😂

    Immortals are forever money comes and goes. And as far as sports star are concerned it typically goes. Immortals inspire, set standards and prove what can be achieved. Winning lotto or getting overs inspires no one, it just adds a lot of anxiety and pressure. Also, Critta is a centre playing in the same era as Cleary.

    Breakdancing is an Olympic sport because it’s athletic just as much as it is arts, our dances aren’t really athletic, it’s more arts. It’s not a sport. Olympics is for sports

    Funny how the most successful Samoa league & union sides are based and from players playing in Aus & NZ. Time for a NZ & Aus based Samoa Union?
    And Tuilaepa and crew are reason why our kids will continue to pursue Aus & NZ rep sides as Samoa don’t have pathways and opportunities. Why would you subject yourself to that mess? Even businesses & sponsors don’t want to be mixed with that. No wonder why WR sees the union as the basket case it is.

    Damn I was cringing listening to the performance arts being part of the olympics. Elliota hit the nail
    On the head. It’s all exploitive, let’s try and keep our culture as pure as possible. We can’t even agree on who wins the polyfest every year and now you want to go to the world stage to be judged by nobody’s?

    Play for Sāmoa or Tonga to change the world. This is right, too bad rugby is far behind. In league Tonga beat Australia and the Kiwis in the same year(?). That’s unheard of in union.
    And I’m proud to say that I grew up fanatical about rugby, but because of the insane sky tv paywall and shitty war on so-called tier 2 nations, I now prefer NFL. A much better run sport.

    Samoa need Manu Samoa, get a go fund me page going for the team and let the people pay for the team and then the team will die for that beautiful scary blue jersey, but only after there is a cleanout at the top because no one will trust that the money will get to where it's supposed to and that's to the team
