    Love the videos. Small question (will probably be answered in the next episode):
    So this works because of Thale's theorem.
    If we were to calculate some other angle (not 90°), does the exercise become too complicated or is there a similar trick?

      I have the same question. I’m guessing it will form a semi-ellipse, though I don’t know exactly how you would find/define the exact ellipse.

      You’d get another circular arc that’s not a semi circle(for example 3/4 of a circle or any fraction of a circle). This uses the circle geo property that angles subtending the same arc in the same segment are equal
