Hope you guys are enjoying the start of the series. Apologies for the quiet audio in the 'project installation' section at 8:12. Lost the footage for that bit due the whole video project being corrupted and that recording got deleted as well. Absolute nightmare! So I re-recorded in the dead of night with my little toddler sleeping not too far from where I was recording. Hope you enjoyed it despite that but very much looking forward to releasing the rest of the series! Follow me on twitter.com/thehashton to find out when the next one will be coming out 👋
Hey Leonardo, glad you're enjoying the series so far. I'm also hoping it'll be a great project for those starting out in web development. Tried my best to explain my decision making so as to not skip any steps. I know that helped me a lot when I first started out 😅
You're absolutely right, most of the products I've worked on in the past 3 years were exactly like what you described in the beginning, dashboards with tables and forms and all. After all, React is designed for this kind of stuff.
For what it's worth (re: analytics and deleting things like page.module.css, error.ts etc.) I have found that you can battle with this for hours and finally just bite the bullet; stop the server, delete the .next folder and npx run dev again. This rebuilds the .next folder from scratch and all the headscratching and cursing disappears with a fresh build from the ground up.
Excellent videos. I watched a tons of React videos and so far, that's the one I liked the most. Espacially since you are using TS :) I'm going to watched the second one now :)
Good day boss, I just found out your channel and I love the clarity with which you introduced the course. I have a question though. Can I use tailwindcss together with materialUI? Is there any possible conflict it can cause?
Hey Maurice, welcome to the channel! You can absolutely use them together, Tailwind CSS is quite resilient and can be most near anywhere. You can use custom class names on MUI components but because MUI component uses inline styles a lot it could cause some specificity issues. Though the TLDR is yes you can :)
hey bro, this is very personal ! You really looks like me ! when I see you, I see me ! disturbing brotha ! really ! and my wife said the same. I'm Big-Neb from France. Thank you for the work (y)

The "analytics" route is being blocked by uBlock. You can see at 22:26 a "1" appears on the extension's icon.
"causing me a bit of a twitch... but I won't feed it" HAHA. Great video, looking forward to the rest.
Haha thanks Robin 😂

Hey man, glad you enjoyed it and yeah this should be fine for any website or project. Go for it ;)
@@LearnFrontendNow Can you build a real world ecommerce website by using this admin page? And for production
@@brancode404 yeah this admin data dashboard is ideal for an e-commerce website project! Probably one of the number one use cases 👌
Something like Stripe would be a great addition to make this work :)
