Agree. I grew up in a 1086, I’m almost the same age as Dougo and was glad to see it too. Theirs sounds the same as I remember, although it seems much smaller compared to the rest of their tractors.😂
Little mistakes that lead to the annoying process of undoing them. It takes hours to repair a mistake that took only moments to create. It's one of the special features of riding the Struggle Bus. it's really nice to see y'all work together with smiles and jokes through what had to be beyond frustrating. God bless
Man I’m so glad we don’t have to mess with grain bins. We have elevators all a round us. All I corn is knee high and soybeans are all up and sugar cane is laid by. We are off to a good start. Just had a2 inch rain Saturday!! God is good. Oh by the way that 1086 red tractor is best tractor on y’all farm. 😂😂😂😂😂🙋🏼♂️👍
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Wow. Not your day with the bin system. You all had your hands full getting everything unplugged and running again. Lot to take apart and empty and get cleaned out again to run right. Sorry about all the extra work. Like you say, takes twice as long in the winter time. You got it running again and that is what counts. You got the tillage machine out of the snow and inside the shop-yeah!!!!! Winter time is never easy. Always doubles your time it seems. Unplugging a leg and/or conveyer is a painful mistake. I've been there. For those without a vac its even worse. Plus someone gets to climb the 100ft+ leg and replace the belts that burned off the pulley. If its winter the level of pain and despair increases lol.
Funny how all the nifty cordless Milwaukee tools come out when you're in a tight spot. & BS just man-handles the pieces anyways n falls on Chet for good measure. You guys remind me of working on the farm with my brothers & we laugh at each other constantly while digging each other to make the day go bye faster ...it's the true meaning of loving the family farm life. Never missed a video in 2+ yrs..keep it up please

You never get lucky enough to have the leg start after only the first cleanout. It always takes a couple of tries to get enough grain out for the motor to get it moving without an overload. Learned that the hard way, had legs and bins since 1964 and did lots of work on them. Sure does suck to be doing that with all the snow you have had.
There has got to be an simplification process for that bin computer site. When you have a piece of paper with scotch tape showing what needs to be done in chroniclogical order, something is lacking in the electronic system...

It just snowed again in that area.. If i was them or Millenial farmer I'd sell half the land up there and buy 500 acres or so in MO, KS, AR, OK and farm somewhere else in early spring then go North in May..
Hey Dougo, Chet , BS and Brody, have y'all seen the forecast for y'alls neck of the woods after Wednesday- Friday . Its fixin to get get unbelievable cold for the next 10- 15 days for y'all and alot of our nation , oh did I mention more snow for the winter that never ends , as of now looks like 6- 8" of snow but as we all know the weather man is a good as a guess their computers can guess . Anyways We are ready for some black dirt and planter action . Lets all hope this is old man winters last gasp of cruel winter weather for the farmers in our Nation 🇺🇸
Started to rewire the male end on a trailer and ended up being 4 hours of work ran the battery down on a truck in the field, jumped it from John Deere, it wouldn't start, had to tow it to the house and put the battery charger on it. Some days I wish that I had stood in bed!

We wash all tillage equipment. Keeps them from rotting from the moisture in the soil build up. Brody is a smart man !!! 👍👍
