Here's an overview of the main functions of the recent release of the Tiptop Buchla 245t Sequential Voltage Source. More to come. Tiptop: tiptopaudio.com/buchla/ My Patreon: / synthtodd
Nice overview! Is it possible to make an 8 step sequence by turning off the last stage and then using C or D output to switch between sources A and B feeding into the 257t? Hmm, I can't think of a way to do it without 2x245t's. I'm also wondering if the stage outs should be blue not black!
OK, potentially dumb question here, but does this have a way to sync to another clock, like an ALM PNW? Would you connect to the Internal Time jack, or simply the red Start jack? I love that it's in 5/4 and that you can kill steps in real time and that opens up all sorts of timing mess-arounds by dropping out a step while in performance to revolve around other time signatures.
Pam's clock (not the 24PPQN one) connects to the Advance in on the 245t and a reset to Stage 1 In on the 245t. I specifically worked on this combination when making the 245t.
A easy to understand concise description of this module. Thanks todd !
Now for them to arrive IN the store... (cheers for Gur and crew). Thanks for the primer.
Awesome - I think this will be my first Buchla / Tip Top module! Thanks 👍
Thanks Todd! Just got the 245t today and am enjoying it, thanks to your overview.

Thank you so much Todd! I very much appreciate these videos! I need to start a Buchla/TipTop system now!

Yep, check this out from Adam Scramstad instagram.com/tv/Cf-DBryFPwE/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Todd, thanks for the video. One correction, the gray Ref output jack is a sawtooth wave, not a square wave.
Thanks for the correction, much appreciated

@@chrisclepper8663 Yeah, I got a reply from beta-testing through Gur at TipTip confirming how to set it up. Been having a great time with it.
Great demo (all of your demos are)- do we know when this module will be available to civilians? :)
pre-orders for 245t just announced earlier today.
I saw them at Dutch Modular Fest, so should be soon!
