한국은 중국의 제조업, 호주는 러시아의 식량, 광물, 중국의 희토류를 대체해서 서방의 공급망을 안정시킬 수 있기 때문이다.
한국은 전기차 구동모터에 쓰이는 희토류 영구자석, 전기차 배터리, 금형 등 부품부터 완성차까지 전기차 산업의 수직계열화를 잘한 몇 안되는 나라이며 호주는 내열성 영구자석에 쓰이는 희토류 생산국이다.
