United Healthcare CEO Assassination & What Insurance Companies Don't Want You to Know

- Join me for a behind the scenes discussion on how the healthcare system works from a physician with over a decade of experience and who has worked for insurance companies and in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Last week a United healthcare CEO was assassinated and BCBS reversed their decision to set time limits on anesthesia coverage. Let's talk about it!
The mental gymnastics here are Olympic-level. Praising doctors for 'trying hard' within a broken system while criticizing physicians in another country for actually trying to fix it through collective action? The UK strikes have achieved real systemic changes that help patients more than any number of individual doctors fighting insurance companies one claim at a time. Sometimes being a 'good doctor' means fighting to change the system, not just working harder within it. Quite a load coming from an industry veteran.
I pray that you overcome whatever happened to you that made you think it’s ok or necessary to make negative, sarcastic comments on a free TH-cam channel whose goal is simply to help people. You are incorrect and have misunderstood my statements. I did not criticize physicians in other countries. I simply stated what I have observed regarding physicians in America so that patients can understand. I agree that sometimes taking collective action is necessary. There are many ways to address the issue and each individual chooses how they will respond. Have a blessed day and wishing you joy!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
GOOD JOB!! Thanks for the insight.
Glad it was helpful!
Ketchup can be obtained without the HFCS, but people need to know!
Set time limits on anesthesia?!? 😮 No.
United bought out my insurance company, they have a policy that the dentist cannot appeal on the behalf of the patient, that the patient has to appeal. Thats a bunch of crap.
