  • In this captivating travel vlog, join me on a journey to Kek Lok Si Temple Penang in Malaysia (马来西亚槟城极乐寺), during the vibrant festivities of Chinese New Year (CNY).
Our journey commences at the renowned Kek Lok Si Temple in Air Itam, Penang, a popular attraction and one of the best things to do in Penang. Starting at the Lower Station Foothill Car Park, we will delve into the captivating realm of the Tortoise Pond, providing a heartwarming experience of observing and feeding these delightful creatures. To enhance our adventure, we'll take the inclined lift (fees required) or local call it as cable car to Level 2, the Avalokiteshvara Hall, adorned with enchanting lantern decorations-a perfect setting for capturing stunning photos.
Experience the whimsy of a buggy ride (fees required) to Level 3, where the Main Prayer Hall awaits, and continue our journey to the awe-inspiring Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda (entrance fees required). Adjacent to the pagoda, a mini garden beckons exploration, inviting you to unwind amidst its serene surroundings.
Ascend once more via the inclined lift (fees required) to Level 4 Kek Lok Si Temple Penang upper station, where the majestic Kuan Yin Statue and an unparalleled view of George Town Penang unfold, seamlessly blending spirituality and breathtaking scenery.
As the sun sets, our day culminates back at the Foothill Car Park, where we'll be treated to the once-in-a-year spectacle of Penang's most stunning fireworks, casting a brilliant glow over the temple and marking the perfect conclusion to our unforgettable Chinese New Year adventure at Kek Lok Si Temple Penang.
I hope you enjoy this video and highly recommend visiting Kek Lok Si Temple Penang and don't forget to explore nearby attractions like Penang Hill during your trip to Penang Malaysia.
